Share It Sunday, Murphy and Stanley!

Nominated by last week’s guest Frankly & Ernestly Speaking!

Watch Out For The Goat!

As promised, I have to tell you all about yesterday.  It started off with lots of fun.  We went to the park to watch JC play soccer and then had a little picnic for his mom (her birthday) and for my mom (Mother's Day).

It was lots of fun.  There were so many interesting things with all those kids and our own grandpeeps giving us lots of attention.  After that we went home for a while and then we went to dinner at a friend's house.

This is Emma, it was her mom that invited us over with our pawrents.  Emma is beautiful and has a wonderful smile!

This is Scruffy.  He is staying with Emma for awhile until his new house is ready to move into.  It was his 12th birfday!  He is kind of sick so if you cross your paws for him that would be nice.

The thing about Emma's house is that there were lots of new experiences and smells that we NEVER knew before!  First of all we met her cat.  She was a very nice cat and we got along perfectly.  There was another cat but she didn't like me.  I tried to chase her down and tell her I was a fun guy but she kept running . . . so I kept following her . . .

Jayden, a very nice cat.  We are friends.  I hope Jayden tells the other cat I am a nice Doodle.

So there was Emma, Scruffy, Stanley, and me.  Oh, and other humans that we didn't know before too.  Oh, also there were two other friends.

Jakota and Makana are now our new friends too.

So after we met all these new friends were were just hanging around the yard, minding our own business.  Just sniffing all the new smells.

"Hey Stanley, check out this smell . . . what do you think it is?"

"Not sure Murph, I never smelled it before.  Hey Emma, what is it?"

"Boys, look up and you will see."

"What is that??  Is that a goat?  No, it's two goats!"

"Whatcha think Jayden, should we go say hello to the goats?"

Emma said the goats' names were Tazer and Karbon so we thought we better say hello"

"Hello Karbon, my name is Stanley. Are you a goat? Can I sniff your butt?"

He didn't say anything, something about "Neaahhh" So We just left and went back to sniffing.

Then I heard a funny sound behind me so I turned around REALLY fast.  Have you ever seen a goat up close?  I mean REALLY close?

He had evil in his eyes - YIKES!

And then I heard mom screaming.  Yes, she was screaming, a blood curdling scream that could be heard for miles and miles (we were close to the mountains so it might have echoed).  "Murphy . . . Stanley . . . run for your lives!!!"

I ran like the wind!  If mom thought I was a fast runner before, that was nothing!  I had a goat hot on my tail!

And then he went after Stanley!

So it turned out that we both got butted.  We didn't get too mad though, we just wondered what the heck they were doing that to us for?  I mean, how rude!  Anyway, after awhile we tried to talk some sense into them and guess what?  We got butted AGAIN!  Then one of them went over to Dad and said something to him.

"Those two Ding-Dongs are getting on my nerves!"
Dad must have said something to the goat cuz the goats said they were sorry.

                           "Sorry Doods"

After that we figured everything was fine so we went back to checking out all the smells in the yard.  And believe me there were lots of smells that were new to us!

"Watch this . . . gonna give 'em one for the road . . . Neaahhh"!

 And he did . . .

About Me!

We are two mini Goldendoodles, born on February 3, 2012, and came to live with our peeps at the age of 7 weeks.  Although we are litter mates, Stanley is quite a bit bigger than Murphy (about 10 pounds).  We have graduated from Puppy School, Intermediate, and Advanced Class and have our CGC (Canine Good Citizen). We love to swim, run with our pawrents, hike, chew and play, play, play.  Murphy is an EXPERT at fetching balls and Stanley is an EXPERT at fetching Murphy.  We have our own computers and are the official Directors of Purchasing for Blogville.

Continuing to give something back on my ‘Share It Sunday’. We all share and we grow together.  Pop over say hello and make a new friend.

  19. Thanks for hosting us Molly! We always like meeting new friends and some have already stopped by! BTW, Stanley said to tell anyone who was wondering that the goat's butt smelled like Oreo cookies. I said, "Are you sure?" and he said maybe he was wrong, it was a fast sniff cuz he had to get out of there!

  24. Great fun for Murphy and Stanley. Mom says she doesn't think we would do very well near goats:) But she and the little bipeds have had lots of fun bottle feeding the baby goats at our local farmstead.

    Nice post.

  26. What fun buddies. Thanks for sharing with us. My previous Dalmatian was great friends with a kid (the goat kind - although she also loved the people kind :) ). What a character that little goat was. He thought he was a dog.

Paws, tails and everything else crossed for Scruffy. Poor thing. Hate hearing about animals feeling poorly
