Flog It Blog It, Bite The Tripe!

Molly The Wally It's Dinner Time!

Things are getting very worrying on the food front. It's a dog's life for taste tester Lucy Postins. She has just landed a job sampling bowls of pet food. The mere thought of eating dog food is enough to turn most peoples' stomachs but Ms Postins, says she absolutely loves her job. She not only samples every individual ingredient that goes into the food but even chomps down on the final product to make sure it tastes just right. Come on it's not like she's cracking open a can of pedigree tripe for dinner every day! That's what I wanted to see and now I am so disappointed. Her company The Honest Kitchen was the first pet food manufacturer to achieve a 'human grade' rating from the FDA which means the final product is legally allowed to be described as 'human grade' on the product labels. The proof of the pudding really is in the eating. So for all of you who get your food from The Honest Kitchen don't tell your people they may set their sights on your chow.

Have a terrific tasty Tuesday and guard your munchies there are humans about.

We got an award yesterday from the lovely Nerissa. We were thrilled to receive The Opposites Attract Award and we place it on our awards page with pride. Thank you so much Nerissa and we pass this on to our tasty buddy Easy The Weimaraner.

  4. I HATE TRIPE! We had to eat it as it is very Spanish and French and I was forced to eat it. NOT ANY MORE do I have to put up with the rubber band (elastic) texture!

Congratulations to you dearest Miz M....you deserve an award for your wit and daily devotion to blogging!

  10. I heard a BBC news article years ago about a man in the UK who tastes pet food. I'd do it if the bucks were good and the hours short! (and I didn't have to swallow). Once I ate one of my dogs doggie biscuits. It looked and tasted like one of those cracker goldfish.

  11. That's not the right job for my staff, they eat no meat. And if I would get this job we had no punch line LOL. BTW: we have to drive 40 km one way to buy Worcester Sauce in a special super market, isn't that scandalous? (unfortunately mom is a junky) Congratulations to your award and thanks for niminating moi!!! Have a tasty tuesday dear Molly!

  37. Congrats on your award, Molly! When I first read your post, I pictured someone eating brown kibble and I felt my stomach turn. Eating human grade, dehydrated food isn't as exciting.
