Flog It Blog It, A Lada Laughs!

Weird cars and their loads. Bonkers baggage

Weird cars and their loads. Bonkers baggage!

Hay where are you going? An emergency stop might be a bit of a problem for this driver in Novokuznetsk, Russia. Motorists looked on in astonishment as a car completely submerged by a giant bale of hay made its way along busy city streets. The bizarre incident occurred when a farmer decided to use his Lada saloon to transport feed for his livestock. One drive said he saw the haystack in his rear view mirror and thought he must be seeing things but then it pulled out to overtake him and he realised it was real. Police later stopped the farmer for dangerous driving. A police spokesman said: 'He was a farmer who explained that his tractor had broken down and he had no other way of getting the hay to his cattle.' He just had a bad hay-r day or was it Dolly Parton's new wig? He was probably trying to hide the fact that he is driving a Lada or was it a thatched roof on wheels? With this in mind we thought we’d take a look at some drivers you would not want to be behind on a busy road.

Someone better grass him up!

Be careful you don’t get boxed in!

A load of bull!

Less Putt-putt more tutt tutt!

An apple a day keeps the tail-gaters away!

Rear view mirror with a difference!

Horse box Russian style!

And lastly everything but the kitchen sink!

Drive safely now!

  5. You come up with the best posts and the great one-liners to go with them! Such a great sense of humor you have!

My sister rescued a mini-horse from the livestock auction and he rode home in her minivan! I don't think he blocked her view, but it still must have been a sight to see!

  6. When our lady was in Bali she saw crazy things on scooters. She says she is glad she hasn't seen any of this where we live.

We love your blog and it always makes us laugh. We get mad at our Lady when she gets behind.

Have a great day. Hailey and Zaphod

  9. That is SOOOO something I would do. :) We have never owned a truck (read: and are too cheap to rent one or too proud to borrow one) so when we purchase things often times we strap those bad boys to our car and head home. :)

    But, not hay.. yet.

  19. . That is just hysterical. The load of bull is too much. Can you just imagine that falling on your vehicle!!! Mom once was behind a truck carrying two snowmobiles. When the truck started to o when the light turned green, they both fell off to the pavement. Mom was so scared but luckily she had stayed back enough not to get hit.
