Prince Charles does make do and mend.
Charles is a fan of
sew-your-own, I turn curtains into cushions, he reveals. Prince Charles has
insisted that in reality he is a member of the ‘make do and mend’ generation.
‘I hate throwing things away. I am always trying to find ways of re-using
things’, he told my reporters at Molly Media. ‘I recycle my old speeches by reading
them out again and again and no one seems to notice.’ My 'monstrous
carbuncle on the face' speech was recently used when I came across a toad
sitting at the bottom of my fairy grotto’.’ My ‘group of appalling old wax-works
speech’ was recently used when I came across a scarecrow in the cabbage patch’
he told the press. He was last seen
heading off to the potting shed, after he’d hugged a tree, discussed world
affairs with the sage and spent some time with the thyme. I am sending him a
knitting pattern for a hat in the shape of a crown as it maybe sometime till he
wears a real one.
Too funny...Prince Charles is so old-fashion...he needs a make over and in a hurry...love your glasses!
ReplyDeleteI can see Charles right now down in the potting shed running up a dress for Camilla from some old curtains just like in 'Gone With The Wind' whilst listening to 'The Archers'.
