 An Olympic sized OMG embarrassment!


Britain's triumph in WWII will be commemorated during a patriotic opening ceremony at the Olympics next month. Although exact details of the show’s format have not been disclosed, the country’s decisive role in the First World War will also be emphasised. I really hope this is not true as it is OMG eye watering, cringing, squirmingly embarrassing! To bring a war theme to the worlds’ premiere event of peace and harmony beggars belief. The show will also include a celebration of the work of the NHS, and several hundred nurses have been chosen to portray the 'Best of British'. That will be no police on our streets and no nurses in our over stretched hospitals either. Londoners will be stuck at home watching it on TV as we have no tickets we can afford. The cost of the opening and closing ceremonies directed by Danny Boyle is a mere £81 million, less ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ more ‘Dumbdog Millionaire’ for us taxpayers. I’m going to start a petition, ‘Coe must go and lance the Boyle while you’re at it nurse’! I will just have to emigrate to outer Mongolia disguised as a baby yak, as there, no one can find me. However Team GB Go, Go, Go and the rest of you, give us your all, and may the best win!!!!!!

      Hi guys ,we aren't far but like most of us we didn't get tickets. You couldn't just buy them , it was more like a raffle and if you won you could buy. The current batch of tickets that are on sale are so expensive, there is no point. It's sad as so many people in London can't go. Anyway we can watch it on TV and I am sure there will be big screens out in public places. We will all just make the most of the event anyway! So near yet so far!!!
