Flog It Blog It, Eat Your Heart Out!

When gourmet goes gruesome.

Molly The Wally Does Halloween!

Things could hardly look more stomach churning than when gourmet goes gruesome. With an eye-watering array of stool samples, flesh and other gruesome human parts, cakes and cocktails have gone over to the dark side. These edible if somewhat unappetising Halloween treats are the result of an unusual collaboration between bakers, drink mixers and medical experts. Doctors from the London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary and Barts hospitals are hosting an anatomy themed baking festival. The non-profit sale this week is set to include cupcakes topped with infected eyeballs, cold sores, blood cells and petri dishes filled with enough bacteria to start a plague. Which one would you dare try?

Cold sore cupcake! Hopefully it isn’t catching. Less make your mouth water, more make your mouth weep!

Blood cell cupcakes which you can wash down with a urine sample served warm of course. Bloody Mary Anyone?

Petri dishes filled with alcoholic jelly shots. Germ-warm-fare anyone?

It’s a stitch up, eat your heart out with this creation.

A cornea-copia of stye-lishly hideous cup cakes!

And lastly have a heart!

Bone Appetite!

From the mom - thank you for checking in this morning - so glad I had such great news to report. Shiloh even followed me to the door as I left for work - that is a good thing, right. (That made me want to stay home)
