About Mazzie

Woof!!! My name is Mazzie and I'm super excited to meet you!!!! Born in rural Georgia, I moved to New York City when I was a very young girl to find a family and have been taking the city by storm ever since. My mom tells me that I am the consummate city girl - busy, bright, beautiful and a little bit bossy! My blog (www.mazzietakesmanhattan.com) and Facebook page (Mazzie Takes Manhattan) are about my daily life, musings and (mis)adventures in, about and around my West Village home. I hope that you’ll visit both often!!!!

I am self-employed as a 4 legged West Village celebrity, detective & blogger, completed high school at The Chattahoochee GA Canine Academy for Girls in 2009, was adopted from Animal Haven Shelter in NYC in October 2009 and completed my college education at the New York University School of Canine Hard Knocks.

Continuing to give something back on my ‘Share It Sunday’. We all share and we grow together. Pop over say hello and make a new friend.

    Mazzie is so adorable, cute, beautiful, charming, stunning and sweet! These are my brother's Barum words! I think she's realy nice IF she likes cats but if she doesn't she's just ok.

      P.S. While I couldn't coexist with a cat beause I'm a bit too interested as a hunting dog, I do love it when I get hissed at by all of the deli and store cats in my West Village neighborhood.
