Flog It Blog It, Fast Food Saturday!

We have not visited the land of the rising sun for some time now so we thought we'd pop over and take a look at what crazy stuff is going on over there. So today why not have a kitty snack? Yep your pampered feline can take a cosy nap now in a bun. Bedtime burgers are the new craze over in Japan. Well if you think that is mad they even have a human version too. Sadly for us dogs they haven't come up with a hot dog version yet. What crazy type of bedding would you like to see? Maybe we can send them our ideas.

Have a super Saturday everyone.

Flog It Blog It, Whiney Wednesday.

Molly The Wally Goes To Japan!

Move over cat nip your days are numbered. Yep all you kitties you have read it right. We pop over for a quick visit to our favourite crazy country, the land of the rising sun today.  A company B&H Lifes has started selling wine made exclusively for cats. Nyan Nyan Nouveau (nyan is Japanese for meow) doesn't actually contain any alcohol but it is a concoction of grape juice, Vitamin C and catnip. It was created after the company apparently had many requests from customers who wanted to do things like celebrate Christmas and birthdays with their cats. At $4 a bottle a puss wanting to get pissed can have a steal of a deal. The downside is it comes with a super irritating video. LOL bet you can't watch it till the end? We tired and failed so we are off to hit the bottle now.....

Have a wonderful whiney Wednesday all.

Flog It Blog It, Scoop On The Poop!

Molly The Wally Goes To Japan!

New Yorkers may spend big money on treatments for blemish free skin but we never thought they'd be dropping the dough for bird poop. Clients of the Shizuka New York Day Spa having been parting with $180 for a Geisha Facial which includes powdered bird droppings as its main ingredient. But don’t worry, clients haven't been seen running after flocks of pigeons hoping some of the stuff will plop  on their faces as they use Asian nightingale droppings. The bird droppings are used to exfoliate the skin during the full service facial. Ms. Shure said many spa clients come back routinely to receive the treatment. That seems like a lot of cash to shell out to have someone rub poop on your face. I get mine done for free in my park. I knew I was right about the stinky goodness.

Don't forget on the 23rd of September Oz and Sugar are hosting their Scoop The Poop Campaign which you can join in with.

Have a tremendous Thursday all.

Dog House Blog, How Well Is Your Smell?

Molly The Wally Goes To Japan!

Japanese researchers have invented a female humanoid as well as a dog robot. For what purpose we hear you ask? Well it is Japan so they have the ability to sniff your breath and feet. They then comment together with exaggerated reactions to push you to do something about your breath and foot odour if it falls below their high standards. Kaori-chan, the female robot, has brown hair and blue eyes. When you breathe in her face, she has the ability to analyze and quantify the components of your breath, and rate the smell on a scale of one to four. As seen in the photo, Kaori-chan will say, “It smells like citrus!” if your breath smells good. However, she will make harsher comments based on how stinky your breath is, ranging from “Yuck! You have bad breath!” to “Emergency! There’s an emergency taking place! That is beyond the limit of patience!” Then the dog robot, Shuntaro-kun, has the ability to evaluate foot odour. It doesn’t speak, but with Symphony No. 5 as the background music, this dog sniffs your feet and shows varying levels of affection. Shuntaro-kun will cuddle up, bark, fall down and growl, or pass out based on its' evaluation of the odour. Well what can we say but how would they react after my roll in stinky goodness (plastic poop alert)?

Flog It Blog It, Chindogu Laughs!

Molly The Wally Goes To Japan.

We haven't visited the wonderful world of Chindogu for a while. Thus we thought we'd head over to our favourite place, the land of the rising sun and take another look at what they have been inventing.

A must have, the forward, backward shoe. Hmm maybe we should send this to Walmart to go with those platypus shoes they have been trying to flog.

Worried about glare when you are trying to read from the monitor? Well not anymore. The anti monitor glare jumper is here.

This gives a whole new meaning to wash and go. Portable washing machines. Walk us doggies at the same time.

The ties with pockets. Drats you could have purchased one of these for Fathers' Day.

In a hurry and you just painted your nails. Wow a nail dryer......yep nailed it!

Nailed it again with this nail cutter. You'd have to brave to try it or maybe it is actually a Ninja torture device?

Now if you want to take a panoramic picture this is the one for you. Just the thing for the budding spy. No one will ever notice.

Sweep up slippers. Another one we should send to Walmart.

Commuting can be very stressful so have a nap with this handy chin rest.

And lastly Edward Scissor Hands Japan style.

The Cat From Hell made us these great pix for our poll over on the right, just one click and vote....am I a devil or an angel or maybe a bit of both?

Have a terrific Tuesday everybody.

Flog It Blog It, It’s Tasty Tuesday Or Maybe Not!

Molly The Wally Does Japan!

Themed restaurants are nothing new but as always the land of the bizarre take the idea to a whole new level.

It all started with Alcatraz! The setting is a medical prison and the patrons are the patients. The waitresses are dressed like nurses and upon entry they handcuff you and lock you into your dining cell.

How about the vampire café with it’s colour red theme and full of candelabras, broken mirrors, skulls, and a large centre piece coffin?

For people who who think about breaking into a Catholic Church and drinking sacramental wine, there’s Christon Café.

Try some canabalistic shushi?  Of course the body is fake, and made entirely of edible foodables, but it is kind of creepy.

Let's go Ninja? The entrance leads to a maze of cave-like corridors where staff escort you through a labyrinth of trap doors and trick drawbridges before seating you at your private table. The meals are themed after ninjas and feudal age Japan.

Some girls never outgrow their princess fantasies, and if you live in Japan, you can luxuriate in all the princess regalia you can stomach at the Princess Heart restaurant.

If you are an Alice in Wonderland fan this one is for you. The restaurant includes playing card dining tables, giant teacup booths, a magic forest, and heart-shaped chandeliers.

The eatery is known as Biohazard Cafe and Grill and features Resident Evil-themed food, props, and an unlimited supply of dancing girls in very short shorts.

The appropriately named Robot Restaurant where you can have a drink, eat a bento box and watch robots stage an hour long mock fight to the latest Lady Gaga hit.

The first menu you’ll see at Calico Cat Café in Tokyo is the cat selection. The staff provide complimentary bags of dried cat food that can be used to attract your desired playmate while you sip your tea.

Please, please we so want a dog version! I'd work there 24/7!

Tuesday just got tastier thanks to Sugars' Tasty Tuesday Blog Hop Here !

Dog House Blog, Roaring Rodents!

Molly The Wally Goes To Japan!

We are pleased to note that we cats and dogs are not the only critters out there made to wear things we’d rather not. Yes straight from the land of the rising sun we bring you ‘Rodent Couture’. Tokyo-based designer, Maki Yamada, offers a selection of wacky clothes and accessories for rodents ranging from $3.50 to $18.50. The creations include a black-and-red ninja suit, a lace wedding dress with matching veil, and a straw hat with clip-on human like hair extensions. While the premise of guinea pig clothes may seem ridiculous to some, Yamada truly believes her project is for the better good of guinea pigs worldwide. “A lot of people get bored with their guinea pigs,” she reasoned. “They will take photos of them for the first week and then get bored and don’t care about them. But if you put clothes on them for a special occasion and post more pictures of them online, you are at least giving the guinea pig more love and attention.”
Her next project will be outfits for prairie dogs. What next may be a skunk? I’d like to see her try. We dedicate this post to Ann My Pawsitively Pets here for Nibblet.

And if you think those were bad.......kitties run and hide!

Have a happy Fursday everybody!
