ReplyDeleteThe Fook King restaurant reminds me of one here called "Pho King". They serve vietnamese food and pho is a popular dish. I think it's supposed to be pronounced "Fuh" but I've never heard anyone call it that.

ReplyDeleteDear Molly,

You gave HER a few good chuckles before SHE heads off for a session at the dentist's. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Whale washing might be fun! I just don't want to brush their teeth.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of when we were in St. Petersburg, Russia (not Florida!) and we went to a Chinese restaurant (because it was one of the few that had a menu that was also in English). There was an item on the menu that said it was "Fish in the shape of a squirrel." We did NOT order it - just in case it was squirrel in the shape of a fish....
I think we will skip the flesh salad, ugh
ReplyDeleteHehehe, Molly that was a good way to start our day. Mum likes the bastad bus and says she's had some old clunkers that were called names like that too! No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
