Dogton Abbey Blog, Lady Dribble, Never Needs To Quibble Or Be Without Kibble!

The cast!

Episode 2 Series 10, Lady Dribble, Never Needs To Quibble Or Be Without Kibble!

Countess to her mother wrote a note about the daughter on whom they'd both dote. For she was like her mother very cute and grandma being astute gave her lots of loot when she was grown. She wanted to make sure that life was sunny and sweet as honey with some of her vast wealth and money. Thus Lady Dribble would never have to quibble or be without kibble.

Soon time had sped and Lady Dribble being well bred, a good catch she was expected to wed.

But Lady D with Barkson the family had misled and down that path again they did not want to retread.

So she was to be introduced to society in the proper way with functions and parties each and every day.  She had no say as this was the way the rich folk of Dogton made sure her eye did not wrongly stray.

But Lady Dribble had other plans and she did not like the family to meddle for in reality she had no plans to settle. Despite plenty of swag the family did nag and life was fast becoming a drag. But she was not weak and certainly not meek and her objections she did loudly speak.

Yet another gown and glittering crown she wore with a frown and planned to wear the familys' resolve down. With a face as miserable as sin she hoped she would win and thus thwart her kith and her kin.

A rumour she spread that she had an empty head and wasn't well bred or even well read. To the families of old well the story became widespread and so they were all misled. To each ball she would go with a yawn feeling like a pawn and her reception was thus somewhat lukewarm.

Thus Summer came and went and she was hell bent at not giving her consent to any old gent. It worked like a treat and no suitable pup did she meet much to the defeat of her family. So she had won and a wedding there would be none and life at the big house would resume being fun. The big house was now fun and no one was glum and to music they'd  hum and danced and spun with hearts so young.

And so concludes series 2 of Dogton Abbey. So a partner she did not seek for she had a rebellious streak? For sometime ahead she may indeed wed but to whom and when remains unsaid? Till then life remains sunny and as sweet as honey when you have plenty of money. Life is sure a bitch when you are rich and you live in Dogton Abbey.

Earl Grrrtham was born with a silver spoon, with lands and a house so big it would make you swoon. In the big saloon so many riches were strewn but behind the facade their spending they did prune. Dogton Abbey was a costly pile and paying the running costs was really a trial. For cash was short and an heiress he must court, in those days a very aristocratic sport.

So she set him a task his feeling to unmask by pretending to be betrothed to another. He did implore and his heart in half she tore and fell in grief to the floor.

Dogton Abbey Blog, Mr.Bites Was A White Knight And Got Into Fights!

DOWNTON ABBEY? MOLLY THE WALLY DOES DOGTON ABBEY.

The Cast!

Episode 2 Series 7, Mr.Bites Was A White Knight And Got Into Fights!

Mr.Bites started life as the pup of the groom of Dogton Abbey. He was a friendly fellow, very mellow and liked by all of the family. So when he needed a job he started to work as a lowly clerk keeping the accounts for the estate.

His work they did rate and he was never late but things would change through a strange twist of fate. His great mate was none other than the young Earl Grrrtham who the village pups did bait.

One night very late the earl came home in a state after a fight with one pup whom he did hate. Bites thought the pup cruel and so off he went to have a play duel to stick up for his friend so cool. He called him a fool and said he was dumb as a mule and his face was covered in drool. But the nasty pup got real mad for he was a cad and real bad.

He didn’t play fair and started to swear and kicked Bites down a big stair. All hell broke loose as this was abuse and there was no worldly excuse. Bites was hurt by this little squirt and he cried as he lay in the dirt. The dogtor was called and his leg was no good and this is how Bites showed he wasn’t a wimp but forever he would have a limp.

The Earl felt so bad and he petitioned is dad to evict the cad who had made Bites so mad. With the cad gone all was still not well as Bites’ leg did swell. So it soon became clear with sitting his leg did throb and so he needed a new job. Thus to the big house he came a little lame but that didn’t matter to the family.

As the years went on he rose in the ranks and Earl said thanks by making him butler to the family.

Now Mr.Bites has a sweet heart who he has loved from the start and from her he would not want to part.

Her name is Miss.Dolly and she is very jolly and pretty thing too it has been said.

They meet on the sly for Mrs.Petmore would spy and tell a lie or two to the family. For surely their secret she would reveal and stories she’d squeal she is afterall a slippery eel.

What is Mr.Bites intent? Will they have tea and will he get down on bended knee and propose much to Dollys’ glee? Will he make her heart sing by giving her a ring the thing she wants most of all?

Next week who put the grrr into Grrrtham? Why is Earl Grrrtham always angry? Lots of guns to clean, and peasant pheasants to shoot. What has the Earl been up to in bang, bang, boom…….another one bites the dust? Stay tuned as life’s sure is a bitch when you are rich and you live in Dogton Abbey.
