When Is A Happy Meal Not A Happy Meal?

Easy Weimaraner  nominated us for an award. We say a big thank you and now we will answer some deep and meaningful questions they set us.

1. What was the weirdest thingy you ever ate?

It must have been the time I came into the kitchen with half a dead frog in my mouth. Peeps shudders to think what happened to the other half.

2. Have you ever slept in a Howl-tel?

Nope but I can howl and tell with the best of them.

3. Do you have a favourite show in TV you could watch for ever and ever and ever and ever and ever?

Anything to do with hunting and vermin, Vermin Hunters.

4. Have you met a celebrity once in pawson (except yourself in the mirror of course lol)?

Only me but I'd sure like to meet Secret Squirrel and Danger Mouse (lick chops).

5. Have you ever found a treasure or a thingy what was precious?

Yes yesterday in the park when I found a Happy Meal box with foodables still inside. She snatched it away from me and threw it in the bin. BIG SIGH!

6. If you could change one (in numbers 1) thing of the world, what would it be?

That I could run faster and the tree rats were slower and Lycra Louts did not exist.

7. Would you rather live in the boondocks or in a big city?

Anywhere as long as there is plenty of vermin to hunt.

8. What are you doing when you can’t sleep at night?

Yard patrol looking for foxes and assorted intruders.

9. What’s your favorite song? The first one what comes in your head… now.

 Walking The Dog.

10. Have you seen a phenomenon once like a total lunar eclipse or a fata morgana with your own eyes?

Yes last time I looked in the mirror.

We pass this on to everybody as to choose would be too hard. If you wish to play along feel free and if not no worries.

Have a terrific Tuesday all and sorry to hear so many of you have Lycra Lout problems too grrrrr but we salute the thoughtful ones and we bet many are here in Blogville.

Dog House blog, Super Saturday With Sarge!

We have had the rainiest start to the new year since records began over in Dear Old Blighty. Luckily most of the time it has been in the night so we still get to go for a walk. However Tuesday it tanked it down and I was miserable in my crib when this package arrived from handsome .Sarge. I was the lucky winner of Sarge;s Valentine's lucky draw. It arrived super quick and in desperate need for some fun I dived right in.

I smell good things!

The nose knows so I got stuck right in.

A lovely card for me.

Oh deer what have we here???

Yepppeeeee antlers!

Look at all the wonderful goodies.

Now for hard work!

A bit of stuffy deading!

And lastly a chomp on a bone.

Thank you Sarge so much for making my rainy day fun and for giving me a chance to try those antlers which I have hankered after for absolutely ages. You made my day.

Off now to lie on my new blanket and perfect the art of antler annihilation.

Have a super Saturday all. If you haven't already signed up for musical mayhem join the Dad Dawg Agency here for some fun events coming soon.

Flog It Blog It, Trashy Tasty Tuesday!

A cleaner, in southern Italy, who was said to be just doing her job threw away two pieces of artwork which she thought was rubbish left behind by those setting up the show. Crumbs the organisers of the exhibition said one of the pieces of art she threw away included pieces of cookies, which were scattered on the floor, as part of an artistic arrangement. Blimey that was an expensive mistake as the batty biscuit arrangement was said to be valued at £8,000. Thrash the trash we say and you better believe it, we'd Hoover up those cookies in record time. We think the cleaner was an excellent art critic. It is not the first time a piece of contemporary art has been mistaken for rubbish. In 2001, bosses at London's Eyesto'rm gallery had to rescue a work by Damien Hirst from a bin after cleaners threw it away mistaking it for rubbish. The artwork made up of empty bottles, cigarette boxes, full ashtrays and paint tins was pulled from a dustbin the day after it was put together by Hirst. Have you ever thrown away something you wish you hadn't?

Dog House Blog On Thankful Thursday.

So I was sitting there minding my business with squeaky chuck when she who must be obeyed ignored came back from an errand. I sent her to fetch my parcel which they had tried to deliver when I was out on impawtant business hunting vermin. Mr.Grumpy at the post office must have had a character bypass as he was in a very jovial mood. When peeps said she had no ID for me he asked how about DNA? Yep she said I can bring Molly over to do her business in the office, will that do? Shock, horror he laughed and went and gave her my parcel. No arguing, no difficulty, nothing. He must have been possessed by aliens. Anyways here is what I got.......

This lovely teddy bear made over at Soggibottom. We say a big thank you and he will appear each year and sit under The Pippin tree at Christmas.

Michele lives at the soggi end of the village in a 17th century cottage in South Devon England. With Tony, Frankie de tabby and Freya Rose Blossom the cat flap cavalier, making bespoke teddy bears with attitude.

Dog House Blog, Toothsome Thursday.

Molly The Wally In The Dog House!

As you well know I have just the teeniest obsession with squirrels. It is only a small one, so it does leave me some time to indulge in my other passion which is getting to the post before my lazy servant assistant. This requires a quick response to the sound of the letter box opening. A lightning sprint followed by a nimble leap in the air with mouth open usually results in a deading of all paper communications that arrive at our house. Well yesterday after returning from a hard days hunting the pesky tree rats I leapt into action when I heard the post man. The result was a spell under the dining table for I was well and truly in the dog house.

Molly The Wally In The Dog House!

Dear Parsley over here sent us a little treat (we love tea) and a lovely card and message. Peeps was less than thrilled with my DIY job on said goodies. Sorry Parsley I can honestly say I did not know it was from you and I thought it was a bill that needed shredding. Peeps says I need to beg your forgiveness.

Which reminds me Christmas will be here soon and you know what that means? Yes perforated Xmas cards, customised by my own pawsome toothies. Fangtastic I say.

Parsley we say a big thank you for your kind words and thoughtfulness. If you are of the crafty persuasion or just an animal lover pop over and say hello and make a new friend.
