Some time ago Pizza Hut announced it was removing salad
bars from its' restaurants in China supposedly as part of a menu overhaul. Unlike
British and U.S. Pizza Hut branches, customers in China were told they could
only have one trip to fill a single plate at the salad bar. But many believe
the real reason behind the change in policy was because crafty Chinese
customers were getting around the one trip rule by creating the incredible 'The
Tower Of Salad'. We are so impressed! Power to the tower and high five to the
five a day. Pity Pizza Hut China didn't appreciate the skill and craft of 'The
Salad Bar Artists'.

ReplyDeleteBecause we in Sweden is also only allowed to take sallad one time in Pizza Hut.
Good heavens. Wouldn't you starve while meticulously piling up all that stuff? our local Pizza Hut only delivers....

SHE had a $24.00 Tuna sandwich in a Japanese restaurant that came (proudly) with 'salad bar'. One bowl of lettuce, one of cucumber and one of tomato.
I think people here would revolt if they were limited to one trip...I've seen the ones with plastic bags tucked in purses to they can bring home salad for a week...I commend the chinese for great creativity...These are amazing...I do wonder how long they took to create
ReplyDeleteLOL those are really something!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm you are giving mom some ideas ... Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteOh my, you definitely need chop sticks to eat one of those without everything ending up on the table and floor!
Y'all come by now,

Those salads look really good, but they also look like they'd take awhile to build. I think I'd get too hungry in the middle and start eating before I ever finished! bol
ReplyDeleteOur Pizza Hut has a salad bar, but it's a very small one. I don't usually eat it because they don't offer much of a choice.
Hahahaha! Mommy can't stop laughing. She says SHE has done some stacking of her own but it's nothing compared to these!
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call inventive!
ReplyDeleteCraziness!
ReplyDeleteCamo!
hahahahaha~~~~, mom can't stop giggling! Surely Pizza Hut doesn't appreciate that kid of skills.
ReplyDeleteMomo & Pinot xo
You'd die of hunger while the artist was at work!!! mol
ReplyDeleteLol what the heck? I wonder how long it took to make those things and if they even ate it all. I haven't heard of this before!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Molly! Those are very creative! How can one person consume all that food (or successfully transport it from the salad bar to the table)? Wrigs would be more impressed if they were giant stacks of hamburgers or something.
ReplyDeleteSusan and Wrigs
Very creative indeed!! But who has the patience? Unless it was steak...or chicken...Bol!
