Flog It Blog It, Fearsome Feathers!

Molly The Wally Dogton Abbey!
Lady Dribble, Dogton Abbey!

What can you buy the pooch who already has everything? Coats, diamante collars or a top of the range faux fur bed? Well the latest craze are for Doggie hair extensions. Yes the latest fashion trend for man's best friend are 'Poochie Plumes'. For £16.50 you can buy feather fur extensions made from feathers available in an array of colours, patterns and sizes to fit your pets' personality. Of course being a trend setter and fashionista we were there way back when. So we suggest you go off to the park and chase some pigeons or terrorize some ducks and don't forget to collect the feathers. Sport your trophies with pride pals and the best bit they cost absolutely nothing. Do you chase birds of the feathery kind?

  1. Any feathers we find, don't end up looking that good...they're sort of wet and clumped together.

  18. Those are some pretty fancy feathers. When I get a hold of a feather it does not look that nice and it is all wet and slobbery. MOM says she is not putting slobbery feathers in my furs. That's ok I would rather roll in the feathers anyway.

  19. Haha. Mommy would love to attach some feathers just behind one of the cat's neck, sit back and be entertained. MOL!

  20. Don't think these would look to good on a pug. We don't have long hair to blend in with the feathers. And they would probably be tickling our noses.

  27. The problem with that fashion accessory is all the cats would be on your tail. Bogey loves feathers and is frighteningly capable of leading the charge.

  31. Those seemed really in style for the humans here about 1-2 years ago. I even kind of wanted some feathers... What an interesting idea to do it for the doggies too!

  34. Free is good. Or you can take the feathers off your cat's toys unless the cat bites you first.

  38. OMD...Well, actually they's kinda purrrty! I could see me in feathers! :)

  39. Oh boy, if I put a feather in Rita's hair, she'd spend all day trying to get it out so she could sniff it. I think we're probably going to pass on that fashion... but then we aren't really known for our fashion-forward sense!

  40. Well, these doggies'd better not be new Mademoiselle Kitshka because she kills feathers pretty hard...

  43. Oooh, feathers! We love to play with feathers. We bat them, chase them and then chew on their feathery goodness. Probably a good idea for any woofie with feather extensions would be to avoid cats. MOL!
