Today We Remember!

Molly The Wally & A Rose.

The Rose Beyond the Wall

 A rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall.
As the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches straight and tall...
One day, a beam of light shone
through a crevice that had opened wide -
The rose bent gently toward its warmth
then passed beyond to the other side...
Now the rose blooms there
Its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by God's loving care.

  27. What a beautiful poem. Such a tough day to remember. Tried to watch the show about the hero dogs of 9/11 last night - but I still can't stand to see the images of the towers coming down. Had to shut it off. Such a horrible, horrible day.
