If Pip could talk I believe this might be what you would hear ~~~~~
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
I think Pip accomplished those things, now you have to accomplish drying the tears and have only happy memories.

For all of you who have sent us love and paid tribute to Pip we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. All of you have been so kind in our time of great sadness. I have included Sweet Williams' words for all of us to remember our love ones who have crossed over to The Bridge recently and during our days of having loved our anipals and lost them.
To you all a heartfelt thank you and bless you all.

ReplyDeleteIt has been a fabulous two years, is it? that I have been following you every day. This is indeed a sad moment in the cycle of life that just seems to keep going without us. But one this is for sure. We are ALL part of the wonder of life and even death, because it's only in the dark hours that we can see all the beautiful trails of a being's life. So many little ones have crossed that bridge in the last several weeks. What a beautiful tribute by Sweet William! So perfectly said.

ReplyDeleteI love Williams tribute. With all my dogs getting very on inyears I cant help but contemplate the inevetable. It comforts me that it doesnt bother dogs at all, they wont worry about the mystery of what lies beyond. They just enjoy their allotted years to the fullest and that was Pip!

ReplyDeletePip would want you to be happy and not dwell on sadness, that is how us dogs are, we like to be happy and have happy humans. Cats, on the other hand, may want their humans to wallow in sadness for a time because cats are weird, let's face it! I love my cats, but... Pip will never be forgotten.
