The Tidy Dog looks like any toy box, but built into the
bottom are weight sensors which can detect when a toy has been added to the
bin. Once a dog puts their toy back, as a reward a treat is dispensed
automatically down a chute at the side of the box. The dispenser is powered by
four AA batteries. The software can also distinguish between a dog’s nosing
around in the bin and it taking or replacing a toy. This will be available for
around £30. I have got my own Tidy Dog and she costs nothing. Actually we think
it is rather cool as it stars a Mini Me. Would you invest in a Tidy Dog or
would you just rely on the staff?

that is pretty cool and any dog with a bit of cleverness would be putting toys in and out all day

ReplyDeleteIt's definitely more entertaining to watch the staff tidy up after doggy playtime. And the dogs prefer their treats dispensed as they rest up on the sofa!

Reilly would have that sussed out in 5 minutes and would stand there taking out and putting toys back in it ALL day long - or for as long as the treats lasted :)

Staff, definitely. What dog wants toys put away anyway?? Although for QUALITY treats we'd be puttin' in HER shoes, sticks....anything.

ReplyDeleteMy help is much to good to replace and I do get treats anyway, so why should I have to do it myself. This item is for suckers, in my opinion. Rely on what you have got, no reason for change.

ReplyDeleteWe have a better Tidy Dog here - our Dad picks up all our toys AND he dispenses treats way more often than Mom does. He went to LA this weekend and we are missing him:) Mom isn't so generous with the treats. Maybe we need one of those Tidy Dogs for when Dad goes away.

I say no I don't like my toys in my toy basket, when mom puts them there I take them right out, but she tripped over a squeaky toy just now so she may disagree! Love Dolly
