Hog Blog, buns BBQ and bunting continued!

Molly The Wally celebrates the Queens' diamond Jubilee!

Queen’s Jubilee, spoilsport council officials say no to bunting in Cheltenham!

As excitement builds for the Queen’s Jubilee, spoilsport council officials in one town have put a serious dampener on preparations by traders. Patriotic shop owners in Cheltenham want to hang Union flags and Olympics bunting across the road outside their businesses. But health and safety officials said they need to take out a £5m insurance policy to cover the cost of redirecting traffic while the flags are put up. These spoilsport, jobsworth, pen pushing idiots should be ignored and folk should just put it up anyway if that’s what they want! What are they frightened of, a visiting giant may get garroted by low hanging bunting? Or a bit of bunting may fall on some unsuspecting member of the public causing blunt force trauma to the head? Could it mess with air traffic control and low flying planes or get in the way of visiting aliens trying to land their UFO’s? Please note all of you ‘elf and safety’ conscious folk, I have stress tested the fence, the flower pots, the plants and my human!

  3. Get's right up your nose doesn't it?! Where my Ganny lives they have plastic boxes for their recycled glass and cans. The other day the refuge blokes wouldn't empty Ganny's because it was "too heavy" It was so heavy her 70 year old neighbour (with a heart condition) carried it to a recycling facility at the end of the road! Put up your bunting and be damned I say! Deccy x
