Molly The Wally Does The Queen.

Longleat Monkeys celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.

Monkeys at Longleat Safari Park enjoyed a tea party fit for a Queen to celebrate Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee only to turn it into a right royal mess. They ripped the tablecloth to shreds and left one of the Union Jack deckchairs dangling from a tree.

Yet another monkey got to grips with a mask of the Queen while his pals played with a blow-up crown.

Deputy head keeper Ian Turner said, ‘It took 60 minutes to set up the table and 60 seconds to trash. The monkeys’ table manners left a lot to be desired’. Oh sorry, wrong story that was actually celebrations for the Jubilee at the House of Commons!

We are glad they enjoyed their tea party, even though it was a bit unconventional!

  5. I've got to ask! Are those real photos or Photoshopped? Too funny!

I enjoyed the link you left in the last post pointing to all the Jubilee gifts. I want the little clock :-)

I visited England just once, for a week, years ago. I got lucky and saw the Queen ride close by to me in her horse-drawn carriage. It was her official birthday parade. We didn't plan to be there for that but just got lucky!
