Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet,
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
Olympic Lanes have appeared all over London, reserved for athletes, officials and sponsors. Regular drivers are not permitted to use them. However the new signs have left the capital's drivers confused by the contradictory messaging. We have no idea which lane we are supposed to be using!This is the new junction in Russell Square where two lanes merge leading to one of the Olympic Lanes. You are supposed to stop where the arrows meet as you can't use either the bus lane or the Olympic lane! Does it mean you may collide at the end of the white hatchings? Do you tip toe along the white line in the middle or just like Evil Knievil do you go up on two wheels and keep on the centre line? Is this the Olympic version of the Hadron Collider, trying to create smaller and smaller vehicles by forcing them together at high speed. This is obviously a new Olympic sport!
'Share It Sunday’ will resume next week! In the meantime it’s The Blogville Olympics!!!!!
