Slog It Blog It, Just The Job For Me!

Molly The Wally God Save The Queen!

Queen posts job advert on-line for £14,000 a year dish washer!

Please mind the Royal Crown Derby and don’t chip the crystal or you will be in big trouble at Buck House. The Queen has posted a job advert for £14,000 a year dish washer upper to travel around her palaces. The Queen is recruiting a washer upper who must be willing to travel for up to three months of the year around all her swell pads just to do the dishes. Armed with a trusty dishcloth and tea towel the employee will travel to Windsor, Sandringham, Balmoral and Holyroodhouse. Described as a ‘General Catering Assistant’ it's just a posh word for one who washes up. Working for 40 hours per week one will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness crockery and cutlery and glassware. So going through the requirements I think I might be well suited.

The employee should be:-
punctual and reliable Tick,
able to work well in a team Tick
flexible and willing attitude Tick
and happy to travel and work at other royal residences Tick.

Better get my application in before one of the corgis goes for it.

Dear Maj
I Molly The Wally would like to apply for position of cleaner of your foodables. I will eat anything except anything green but that is no problem I can give that stuff to the Corgis. I love foodables and I bet your stuff is well pucker. My qualifications for applying for this job is I have a very long tongue good for licking things clean. Maj you will save a fortune by not having to use a dishwasher. I am quick and efficient and I am more than happy to gobble up any leftovers. Please may I have the job.
Yours starving hungry of Suburbia.
Molly Majs’ Number 1 Fan.

Do you think I will get the job?

We got another great award from The Urban Hounds. We are thrilled and have popped it on award page with pride. Thank you so much. Nice one!

  10. Now, we're not too sure how much money that is in american dollars, but we think that would be the pawfect job for you Molly. Inbetween washing the dishes, you could run the hallways, snoop under the doors, race around with the corgi's, take naps with The Duke and Dutchess and tease the Guardsmen out front. If you need a referrel, just let us know.

    Hugs,
