We are proud to
bring you the worst film of the year and it is only July. Crappy dialogue like 'we can't just stand here and
wait for sharks to fall out of the sky' and 'we're going to need a bigger chopper'
has us snorting like a snorty thing. But the biggest treat is seeing Los
Angeles destroyed by this freaky event. The iconic Hollywood sign meets a fishy
end too. OMD they don't explained how the fearsome
predators manage to hurtle towards the ground with their mouths open resulting
in dozens of grisly and utterly entertaining human sharkbait moments. The
made for TV movie is to be shown on Universal's Syfy network on Thursday, but
it's sure to become an instant classic on the internet before long. Can't wait.
The sequel contenders...
Tsunameerkat
Lizard Blizzard
Wolfcano
Bearnami
Piranhurricane
Tarantulavalanche
Catquake
Don't forget if you fancy some fun pop over to Sprinkles here and join in for Christmas in July.

It sounds so bad that you're probably right about it becoming a classic!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds horrible! The Lizard Blizzard sounds kinda fun, though...for us kitties, at least. ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute post. Our mom and dad like this show MST3K or mystery science theatre 3000 the show is about a guy in space and his robots forced to watch bad movies. Its very funny, or maybe you have seen it. They have a new thing called riff trax where they make fun of movies now and you can buy the dvds, they do movies now and some live streamed shows its very fun

OH DEAR DO WE AGREE!
ReplyDeleteBLOOD AND GORE NO THANKS BUT
CATQUAKE CAUGHT OUR INTERESTS.
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF AND MOM
Oh we have heard about this terrible cinematic venture! We hope there's no catnado sequel!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a wackie movie!
ReplyDeleteThat nutty movie got a LOT of attention... BUTT not as much as the ROYAL BABY and its NAME are getting. Have You placed bets on those yet?
ReplyDeleteWe heard about this so we tuned in to the first 30 seconds and it was so bad and we had laughed so hard, we couldn't watch another second! That was a million dollars, not well spent! Have a great day! Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteSecond time in two days I heard that word "sharknado". Never heard it before that.
ReplyDeleteSo bad that everyone will want to watch it just to see what all the bad hype is about.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
As an American, I would just like to apologize for my country unleashing such stupidity on the world.
ReplyDeleteThe only good thing to come out of it is some delicious punniness--Tsunameerkat indeed!
I have heard so much about this movie, I am just going to have to watch it whenever it comes to cable....lol.
ReplyDeleteWHAAAAAAAAAAT? This is nuts!
ReplyDeleteYIKES! I guess it is not safe to go back in the water!
ReplyDeleteI love it. Excellent suggestions. (Who knows... SyFy probably has a few of these already in the works.)
ReplyDeleteSomeone on Twitter suggested Deerecho, which I thought was another good one.
Sounds bad enough to be good!!! MOL a must see ;)
ReplyDeletehaven't seen it, but its being talked about all over. supposed to be a sequel coming...
ReplyDeletewe heard it was a stinker!
ReplyDeletestella rose
OH DEAR....haven't we had enough shark movies? MOLLY DEAR...you are know on the Hollywood scene! Should we be looking for your paw prints in the concrete on at the Chinese theatre? Or a star on Hollywood Blvd for reporter extraordinaire? I THINK WE SHOULD!
ReplyDeleteHugs my dear and fuzzy friend! Anita
Momma remembers Mystery Science Theater. She thought it was so funny. We are not fans of the scary movie bad or good. The music is very upsetting.
ReplyDeleteTara Reid & Ian Ziering...sheesh what can you expect? I read that there's serious talk of a sequel Maybe they'll destory London next time ;)
ReplyDeleteCatquake, Alfie could star in that BOL xx00xx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Will there be auditions for these sequels Molly? That film looks so bad, that I could probably star as a wolf in wolfcano, and it would still be a better film!
ReplyDeleteSomeone should make a blogville film, I'd watch that!
Pippa :)
Why didn't all the townspeople just stay indoors and away from the windows like you are supposed to in a tornado? All those sharks would have rained down and died from lack of sea water! And to think some studio spent millions of dollars on this!
ReplyDeleteMom said this one she will pass...too much for her to handle!!!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, it's so bad it is good!
ReplyDeleteDip Bridge and Elliot x
I suppose it could be good to send you to sleep if you suffer from insomnia Yawnnn.
ReplyDeleteSheba.
OMD!
ReplyDeleteThat's a bad movie indeed!
Have a nice day!
Kisses!
Kaiser and Farrusquinho
ha ha -this one has been all over the TV over here!
ReplyDeleteOh we love to have a squirrly quake, we need a good fight!
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
Sounds horrible! We heard the writer say someone suggested a "Snailquake" so you'd have time to develop sub-plots! Too funny!
ReplyDeleteWe had not heard of this one, but we think that is OK.
ReplyDeleteHaving a great time with you at the Twister Tourney!!!
hugs
Bailey, Hazel & Greta
Lol I just heard about this the other day... My daughter watched the trailer with me just now and her words were "I don't think nobody would watch that."
ReplyDeleteThis premiered here in the USA last week (I believe)...it was trending on Twitter! I didn't watch it, but read up on it to see what the heck it was. Sounds, umm...interesting? Or not!! Hehe!
ReplyDeleteElyse and Riley
Then you better get ready because they are making a Sharknado II
ReplyDeleteNO! This is the first I've heard of this abomination. What the heck will they think of (with very little brain power put into the effort and I hate to even use the word "think") next???
ReplyDeleteHowdy Molly, hehehe, we heard about that one too. Hilarious and somebody will probably love it! Who thought up the idea??? No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteoh dear lord
ReplyDeleteThere's a celebrity gossip website that I visit regularly, and they how many people had seen the movie. I'd never heard of it before. And now I know why everyone was saying it was so awful! bol
ReplyDeleteWe heard people talking about that on telly, but didn't know what it was. What a hoot! It'll become one of those cult films.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Holy Dookies!!
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
Hey Molly!
ReplyDeleteWow, I think those Hollywood peeps have too much money and too few brain cells! BOL What a goofy idea for a flick. OMD I'd love to see a movie about a Lizard Blizzard! COOL IDEA...get it?!?...Cool, blizzard...get it?!? ahem.
BTW: OMD you are a magnificent Twister, my furiend! Wooohooo I'm having a blast stretching and reaching around the pad with you. BOL
Grr and Woof,

ReplyDeleteDK downloaded this. I actually can't wait to watch it :)
ReplyDeletetime for a snooze I think Molly
ReplyDeleteOMD Molly, does you know that flying sharks is my daddy's biggest imaginary fear? I GOTS to get this movie for him; it will scare off his pants! Mama says she can handle it (and she likes laughing at bad movies), as long as they no makes Snakequake! Wasn't Ian Ziering in 90210....?
ReplyDeletelove,
Reuben
Oh my dog. Yes, I think you are safe to bestow that award in July.
ReplyDeleteThose are some pretty whacked out signs, for sure!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
