Slog It Blog It, Tongue Twisting Thursday!

Molly The Wally!

Try saying

Pad kid poured curd pulled cold, very quickly, ten times.

It might not make much sense, but the phrase has been labeled as the world's most frustrating tongue twister and defeated many volunteers taking part in a US speech study.

Try these tough tongue twisters,

The sixth sick sheikh's sixth sheep's sick.

(this has also been labeled as the hardest in the English language)

A big bug bit a bold bald bear and the bold bald bear bled badly.

You've known me to light a night light on a light night like tonight. There's no need to light a night light on a light night like tonight, for a night light's a slight light on tonight's light night.

Imagine an imaginary menagerie manager managing an imaginary menagerie.

Shep Schwab shopped at Scott's Schnapps shop; one shot of Scott's Schnapps stopped Schwab's watch.

Did you manage them?

My personal favourite is

Darn squirrel snot, the stupid silly squirrel scarpered up the shiny slippery sign post.

Have a tremendous tongue twisting Thursday all.

Christmas card tally

Peeps ha ha only 3

Me 36

Thank you Ruby and Dory & her bros.

  30. I mastered them....my mom not so much. I reminded her that she often has difficulty speaking everyday sentences and should practice these more (she only knows..Blitz stay....Blitz no...you can not get in UPS truck...Blitz no...Blitz no....) and I took off looking for the squirrel momma mentioned.

  31. Those are hard - although some are easier than others. That first one I heard them talking about on the radio, but the guy just kept reading it so quickly, I couldn't even understand a single word he was saying - of course, the fact that it makes zero sense didn't help either!

  32. Dear Molly,
my tongue is twisted now, you know I have a very long one! These are too difficult for me, but I enjoyed them very much !

  35. I get tongue tied pretty easily as it is. I couldn't get past the first one. Thanks for sharing :)

  36. Anything with squirrels in it is indeed good. Although, despite the fact that my tongue is clearly superior to my person's, I must admit that I cannot twist around these phrases. But that's okay, because I can lick out a tub of ice cream no problem, and that's what matters!
