Dog House Blog, Sweater Saturday!

Molly The Wally!

We hope everyone had a happy holiday, a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Ours was very quiet. Wish we'd have thought up this non-violent form of protest each time she who must be obeyed ignored got out those antlers, halo and other form of humiliation and torture. Learn from a master my fine friends.

Have a super Saturday all. Make it a good one.

  11. BOL!! Molly, have you ever seen the video Engineers on Cats 101 (or something like that)? They explain in scientific terms why cats fall over when they are dressed. I think it has something to do with the rotation of the earth...it is hilarious. We need to take a cue from cats so we don't have to wear such crazy outfits.
    Happy Saturday, my girl!

  13. There's no way that cat was gonna do the walk of shame in that ridiculous outfit - he represented every cat in the land - they're lucky he didn't shred their ankles - Ambercat.

  22. Howdy Molly, Aww, we felt sorry for the kitty. Our sissy Penny would have scratched their hands off hehe. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  23. Ozzy did the same thing when we put a t-shirt on him to keep his stitches covered last year. He was fine once we got him a bigger shirt. Still took out all of his stitches before the vet check, luckily he healed well in spite of himself. :)
The Mr. has a strict "no antlers, no dressing dogs/cats" policy otherwise. We only make exceptions for dog coats when it's really cold and wet out.

  30. That cat does not fancy the sweater. Ha, made us think of the little boy in the "Christmas Story" movie, with the Easter Bunny Pajamas :D

  31. MOL.... he has a nice strategy! My poor cats when I was a little girl had to play dress up with me in doll clothes. And they were boys and all I had was dresses for them. But they got to eat cat treats out of their tea cups for our parties haha.

  35. Thanks for sharing this video, Molly. Our human keeps threatening to get us sweaters 'cause we want to go out on the catio when it is really cold out. It's 11 degrees right now but almost 10 p.m. so we wouldn't be able to go out anyway. But now we know exactly how to behave if Mom ever does bring these dreaded pieces of attire home. Hope she learned from watching it as well. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
