Although unusually mild here across the pond we are being battered by high winds and heavy rain. Worry not as you can see I am well prepared. I am keeping my ears close to my head incase I get blown away a la The Flying Nun.
It sure is wild over here.
Stay warm and dry and safe everybody. We say a prayer or two today, for farmers, their livestock and wildlife out there both here and across the pond.
Oh Molly you seem very well prepared indeed....for storm or unexpected clothesline dilemma..we think too of the poor livestock and wildlife and not so lucky animals..i hope they find sanctuary from that crazy bad weather..keep your ears down girl :) hugs Fozziemum xx
ReplyDeleteIt's just terrible Molly, we are praying for everyone here and across the pond. We are lucky, we don't have it too bad here. My park is a swimming pool though xxxxooxxxx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
We're having a very windy evening, too. Could have a lightning storm...butt, we're hoping for some rain.
ReplyDeleteBundle up and keep dry.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Stay safe and warm Molly x
ReplyDeleteOh Miz Molly, hang on to your ears little one...we had a HORRIBLE two days of cold that was reported to be colder than on MARS! YES!
ReplyDeleteI pray for all of you dear friends across the pond as this vortex makes its way to you. HUGS and stay INSIDE!
We're purring and woofing for effuryone to stay safe.
ReplyDeleteOh Molly, it is just to cold for man or beast. We feel so sorry for all our fur friends suffering in the cold right now. You look so warm and comfy.
ReplyDelete♥♥♥Mona & Prissy
Oh that is Windy. We are right in the center of the polar vortex here, or as it used to be called some rather cold days
ReplyDeleteretro rover
You're wise to hold on to your ears! Mine give me enough trouble when it's windy and yours are longer than mine!
ReplyDeleteOMD...I didn't even consider that! If my ears caught just the right wind condition, I would find myself flying across the pond. Please catch me upon my arrival!
ReplyDeleteWe are saying prayers with you Molly. Dang polar vortex needs to get the heck off this world.
ReplyDeleteStay warm girlfriend
Hugs Madi your bfff
This is a January similar to the ones when I was a kid, (but they didn't have any fancy names for it then). They also didn't ever close the schools which they do at a drop of a hat now. I remember trudging through snow and nasty wind chills. I want a do over! lol
ReplyDeleteWhen we were on holiday in the Lakes over Christmas the spring bulbs were coming up, Daffodils coming up in December the weathers gone mad, it was unseasonly mild.
ReplyDeleteSheba.
We've seen some photos and videos of the wind, rain, and flooding in parts of the U.K. This polar vortex is playing havoc with too many of us!
ReplyDeleteMom says it is times like this she wishes she was home...but then again she called her sis yesterday and she said it was 48 degrees C over there in Australia - that is 118 degrees Fahrenheit !!!!!!!!!! Hmmmm you know you can always add layers to get warm but there is only so many layers you can take off to cool down......maybe the cold isn't so bad
ReplyDeleteBrrrr...we are up to a high of 7 today, a huge improvement. Just keep thinking of those poor animals left outside and of course of the livestock as you say.
ReplyDeleteBrrrrr. that makes me cold just looking at it.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not THAT wild over there. Stay safe, sweet Molly.
ReplyDeleteStay in and stay warm! That is what we are a doing!!
ReplyDeletestella Rose
Stay warm and cozy Molly! Me-Ommmmmm
ReplyDeleteWhew, yep maybe you need a rope around you and a squirrel infested tree so you can be safe and have some food, in case the floods come to your place!
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots

ReplyDeleteStay warm and dry everyone. It is rainy just a little bit here today, but seems a little warmer than yesterday maybe.
ReplyDeleteOur storm has passed but we still have lots of snow on the ground and cold temps. Hope you are staying warm inside, dreaming of special friends.
ReplyDeleteWags, Noreen & Hunter
great minds today :)
ReplyDeleteHey Molly!
ReplyDeleteWow, what pretty pix, even if they are cold! It's freezing and I'm starting to dream of Spring sunshine. Great post about remembering the chilly, less fortunate critters who are outside in this. Happy Wednesday, my furiend.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Pol Comm
It was a summer of wild weather, and now all this cold and snow and rain and wind. Mother Nature must be very angry at something.
ReplyDeleteStay safe. We are starting to warm up, but rain is on the way. Rain, warm temps, and melting snow = MUD!!!
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning

Good idea to keep your ears battened down! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteIt's been pretty cold here too and very wet - but all the puddles are frozen. Yesterday it was around 12 degrees! Today it was warmer - around 30 - and I went swimming in the river and got little icicles on my tummy! I wasn't cold tho cause I was bred for these temperatures.
ReplyDeleteGarth
I was soooo worrieds about you when I saw the head lines on the news last night. I hope your house did not get wet.
ReplyDeletePlease stay safe!
