Canned Laughter On Tasty Tuesday!


We came across this delicacy and wondered what other bizarre foods are available in cans? So on tasty Tuesday we take a look at all things canned.

Yep the whole canned chicken. Has anyone ever tried it?


Sliced bacon anyone???? Oh and it is Celebrity, but of course. 

Not not tennis balls but fish balls. Perfect for a roll in stinky goodness.


For our cheese burger loving friends. Never be without one again.


Go on unleash the zombie in you....!


How about these for that Saturday night at the movies?

  9. Yikes on most but years ago I had the canned whole chicken. My parents had a cottage far from stores and had some canned food for emergencies. One winter we got snowed in for a couple of days and had the chicken for dinner. It tasted like bolied chicken as I recall. Not bad but not great either. I don't think they even make it anymore.

  13. As we plan to live aboard a sailboat in a future, I have heard of weird things in cans. For instance, many sailors will can their own chickens in glass jars before taking off.

    I've also heard that New Zealand has excellent canned butter. I can't wait to try it.

    But as for the scorpions? I'd prefer them fresh. :)

  18. how they could pack a whole chicken in such a small can? Is that the same magic spell what brought a camel through the eye of a needle? The worms look interesting, I like things with bbq flavour, even worms. Have a tasty tuesday and give me a sign when you need a can opener!

  40. We'd probably eat most of those things. The only things we don't like are celery, clams, and citrus fruits. How do you suppose they stuffed the entire chicken in a can?

  45. Ewww gross! Scorpions! Bleh... I haven't had a whole canned chicken before, but I have used canned chicken when I am lazy. Not really anymore but in the past. It's like tuna kinda. I left one on the counter opened and was about to use it and Shiner stole it :(
