ReplyDeleteYikes on most but years ago I had the canned whole chicken. My parents had a cottage far from stores and had some canned food for emergencies. One winter we got snowed in for a couple of days and had the chicken for dinner. It tasted like bolied chicken as I recall. Not bad but not great either. I don't think they even make it anymore.
ReplyDeleteYou found some goods ones (or should I say bad ones, very, very bad!). I would have to be near death from starvation before I would try one of those!

ReplyDeleteOur mom is just saying "Yuck!" to most of those canned goods.
ReplyDeleteAs we plan to live aboard a sailboat in a future, I have heard of weird things in cans. For instance, many sailors will can their own chickens in glass jars before taking off.
