She Said She Could Murder Me On Moanday Monday!
So she who must be obeyed ignored has been watching LOST as it is the 10th anniversary of said series. Now she never got past series 2 so sneaks in an episode or two when she can. I of course have to work at my Homeland Security which is quite hard when the woman shrieks and squeals when something bad happens. So to celebrate I decided to do a bit of a LOST myself whilst on the park. She started calling me and as the panic set in the shouts of MOLLY got louder and up a couple of octaves. Then she did the headless chicken impersonation flapping around shrieking and hollering. When she finally shut up to catch her breath she heard a little voice saying would you like some more cheese? That's when she saw the tent and yes I was inside with my new chum Rupert. Poor Rupert asked if he was in trouble and peeps told him no but I sure was. No more cheese for me just my sorry butt hauled back home with my peeps in a foul temper which even an episode of LOST could not soften. Have you ever run away and worried your peoples?
PS Rupert's daddy was too busy reading the paper to notice what went on but then again we do live in Nappy Valley thank God.
Have a marvellous Monday and don't forget to include some mischief today.
Oh yes, I have form in this area. Maximum time missing in the woods, two hours. Oh they do panic don't they, these humans....
ReplyDeleteMiz Molly, you IZ bad, making your peep worry as such! CHEESE? TENT? Did you find some sort of food fair? teeehee....you are the Mischief on Monday queen! Your photo is so, so cute.
ReplyDeleteOh Molly, I have to agree with mom on this one, you did do mischief and the feeling is horrible when we can't find our canine children... i can do the same thing your mom did, but i am not yelling Molly but BABY. thanks for the smiles today
ReplyDeleteYeah, be careful with that takin off stuff. Yu could give the peepoles strokes or sumfin. Then they'd really be mad at 'cha.
ReplyDeleteHave a super duper day.
Yikes Molly! Be careful! Our peeps get so upset when they can't find us!! We are always getting in to some sort of mischief...so that won't be a problem for us!!
ReplyDeletexo Chloe and LadyBug
Smile and say Cheese Miss Molly....nauwty ..I would have stroked out...Forrest does that in the bush here at home..'RUN FORREST RUN"...rotter ;) hugs and loves Fozziemum xx
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I think it's great fun to hide in the bushes while The Staff has conniptions on the back step! It amuses me!
ReplyDeleteOur Mr. Bill one time took off after a squirrel and it was the longest two minutes EVER! Scary stuff when a pooch vanishes.
ReplyDeleteOur peeps do get crazy when they can't find us - only happened once to me when the gardeners left the gate open and I took myself over to my buddy's franklins place for a visit. Of coarse Mom and Dad didn't know that and searched the streets looking for me for an hour
ReplyDeleteWhat an unreasonable human you have! Doesn't she know that cheese comes first?
ReplyDeleteoh, you're so naughty!!
ReplyDeleteI think the cheese sounds like the best idea Molly.
ReplyDeleteoh cheese on monday is great! I always wonder why our peeps always scream in such situations... we can hear them even when they whisper... if we want to hear them...
ReplyDeleteHey Molly!
ReplyDeleteWow, what great mischief for you today! Sometimes making the peeps do the chicken dance is good for their exercise and circulation. BOL Glad you were found safe and sound and cheese is always a plus!
BTW: Looking great in your witch outfit today.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Pol Comm
You are lucky you are here to talk about being a runaway
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Wow, 10 years since Lost. That doesn't seem possible! Wilson ran off after some deer one time and was gone a LONG time, much longer than usually happens in chase scenarios. My neighbor finally found him quite far from the house and brought him home in her car. I was PANIC STRICKEN!
ReplyDeleteYou weren't lost, SHE was lost.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just need a quick escape don't you? I have a feeling our little pal Pixie will be off trying to join you!
ReplyDeleteMolly your mischief is monumental!! Keep it up
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
What in the world did your peep expect, when there is some cheese available??? Give her some kisses to soften her, it always works.
ReplyDeleteGreat people training!
ReplyDeleteLOST you disappeared for awhile. Oh Molly you are in the dog house so much. Molly what would you have done if the one who must be ignored got LOST? You had better stop listening to the devil on your shoulder.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
That is some great mischief Molly...OUr Mama and Daddy love LOST so much they names Jakey after "Jacob" on the show!! Needless to say Mama and Daddy watch WAY too much TV...
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
We are suddenly in the mood fur cheese. Good thing you let your Mommy find you -- wonder how many octaves high she can sing. She must have set some sorta world record. In any case, glad you are safe and sound!
ReplyDeleteI did a very bad thing at the park the other day, let's just say I haven't been off leash since. But cheese? Her fault for watching a TV series that everyone knows how it ends and no one liked the ending! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteWe include mischief EVERY DAY! SHE just loves it.
ReplyDeleteOh Molly you are so crazy! Nala likes to go missing every once in a while at the park just make sure to keep our Mom on her toes and in good voice as she hollers for Nala. But we never get cheese when Nala comes back!!!
ReplyDeleteKiki and Nala
Hey Miss Molly - no need to re-enact LOST for the Mom - that show alone is spooky enough. Mom loved it in the beginning but thinks it got sort of out of hand toward the end:(
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Yes Bailey used to run off if he got out of the yard, would really upset mom
ReplyDeletehugs
Mr Bailey & Hazel
MOLLY MOLLY MOLLY..... don't you realize that if your cause your mom to be ANGRY and WORRIED and SCARED... she COULD accidentally FURGET TO FIX YOUR SUPPER???
ReplyDeleteYes Taco is guilty of doing a runner from the backyard. He can break out of anything! Thank goodness for kind neighbours. He never gets into trouble though - Mum is always so relieved to find him. T&C xx
ReplyDeleteHello dear Molly,
ReplyDeleteno, I never go too far away from my humans, because I must watch them for I am a guard dog! They can't survive without my help! I always keep an eye on them! If I see a squirrel with the other eye, it could happen that I get distract for a second or two! But for cheese no way! :D
Love
Arno
Molly,
ReplyDeleteOh my Mom would be a screaming banshee.
I might go for the cheese too.
xo Cinnamon
I think you should cut your peep some slack, she LOVES you and was terrified! I would have done the same xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh you scared her bad! We have not been lost. Mom said she would die if we got lost.
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
I only did once but it was years ago and Mom said I'm never allowed to do that again. Humans don't find running away real funny I guess.
ReplyDeleteReally can't blame your Mom for this one buddy. Never hide from her. She might just decide to grab another dog and go home
ReplyDeleteWe are always leashed outside the park but years ago Tubby broke free and one right down the middle of the street and once Weasley slipped his harness mom was scared to death So glad you are ok
ReplyDeleteretro rover
HAH! Your human sounds like TW. She starts shrieking when she can’t find me when I’m still in the apartment. Last Halloween she thought I left with some trick or treaters and went running around the halls screaming for me.
ReplyDeleteEeeek!!!! I am glad you were ok at least!
ReplyDeleteღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
MOL! It must have been fun!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I hide in the house. In a closet or something. And it's pretty funny to hear my human call my name desperately =^.^=
Purrs
Crikey ..... she wouldn't really MURDER you ...... would she?? I went missing for half an hour once. I was chasing two big Roos and I wasn't in 'listening to Dad mode' at all. Our Harri was an expert at the disappearing act. He was once missing for two hours in a state forest. Mum, Dad and our Lucy were traipsing all over the forest looking for him and when it started getting dark they went back to the car to discover our Harri sleeping peacefully under the car. He'd been chasing rabbits and was exhausted. There was a lot of steam coming out of Mum and Dad's ears, I believe.
ReplyDeleteBOL I've heard those same shrieks from my mom.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Molly I think you outdid yourself today. That is enough mischief for a whole month I bet! Hope you have a wonderful week my sweet friend! (and get out of the 'dog house' soon)
ReplyDeleteluvs
Marty
Did somebody say Cheeeeeeeze!!!!!
ReplyDeleteShiner has! Well kind of... she was somewhere in the yard and went inside when we started calling her. Then the hunt was on and she was on the couch the whole time BOL.
ReplyDeleteOh, oh, am I too late for some cheese?
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses
Princess Leah xxx
A tent with cheese - what a find! But you really should tell your mum where you are going!
ReplyDeleteMolly, My girl what are we going to do with you?! You know you could give your mom a heart attack, don't you? Glad she finally found you; hope you weren't grounded for too long.
ReplyDeleteHave a pawsome day!
Noreen & Hunter
Lol I ran off to say hello to someone I recognised in the park. They were all the way up the hill and mummy had to run to catch me. I don't know what the problem was as she I was in plain sight, but I guess she needs new glasses lol
ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! It is worth getting Lost (and yelled at) for cheese! Cheese is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteGoodness,, home land security is important and your mom should be helping you more,? Don't you think?
ReplyDeletelove
tweedles
We love that photo of you... We love Shocktober....
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Hugs, Bugsy and Knuckles.
Braeden got LOST one night because the mower people left the gate open. Mom was frantic. They searched and searched the neighborhood for him. We had some coyotes hanging around and when She saw the beady yellow eyes, she freaked out. Then She heard Braeden barking.....sitting inside the gate to the back yard. BOL He hasn't been LOST since.
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolute panic! Bentley hasn't gotten loose before, but only because he isn't allowed off leash except in our fenced back yard. I know his nose would hit the ground and he'd be off on an adventure. I have been known to do the flapping headless chicken dance before though! Haha!
ReplyDeleteI went out exploring once when the gate was left open - I was only out for 10 minutes but they were frantic!
ReplyDeleteHow can they expect anydog to resist the offer of cheese?
Jeez Molly
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your Mum interrupted your cheese lunch date, that's rude! I'm sure you let her watch Lost in peace!
I hope you're having a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy :)
Heh, heh, heh. One of our pack opened the closet door just enough to slip in and the female peep couldn't find her for half the day. The peep got all upset thinking she had slipped out the front door and was about to call the police and check the pound when she felt a furry rub on her ankle. We never did tell her about the hiding place. MOL!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Cindi Lou & The Kitty Krew
CHEESE CURTAILMENT? horrors!!!
ReplyDeleteOh no you should not scare her!
