Massive Moan On Moanday Monday!
Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween and got plenty of treats unlike me who only got this stupid bandanna which by the way was free from the fur stealers to add insult to injury. Now don't know if you have noticed that there are way too many spiders around this year and they are HUGE. Well last week she who must be obeyed ingored saw this massive one crawling down the bedroom wall heading towards some cushions. She knew despite her dislike of these eight legged critters if she didn't get it there and then who knows where it would end up? Valiantly she caught it in an empty cotton wool jar. OK fast forward and she rings 'Wonder Boy' to come and get rid of it. Catching it was quite enough heroics for one day. 'WB' comes over and proceeds to shake the jar and open it to see exactly how big it was. Spider jumps out......peeps screams.....I bark and chaos rules in our house once more. Many HBO words later me and peeps are in the sitting room hiding till 'Wonder Boy' (now renamed 'Stupid Idiot') finds 'Many Big Feet' and gets rid of it. OMD the cussing went on for hours with 'Stupid Idiot' muttering all the time .... how was I know it was going to jump out? So peeps says anyone in need of a 'Stupid Idiot' or have a village missing one we have one going spare.
Have a marvellous Monday all and don't forget to include some mischief today.
Wish I could have been the fly on the wall Molly.

Well nobody likes a spider that won't leave the building politely!
ReplyDeleteBol! Sounds like fun times - fur barkin an runnin round!
ReplyDeleteme to on being the fly on the wall... lots of screaming going on here if that happened. the thing is i would not put it in a jar, but it would be smashed with the fly swat where ever it was found. we have a swatter in kitchen and bedroom... small spiders are swatted by ME larger ones by hubby.. i am afraid they will jump on me. don't need another idiot here, we already have one. your guess if it is me or hubby...
ReplyDeleteA free bandana is better than no bandanna at all!
ReplyDeletesuishing sounds like much better option :)
ReplyDeleteAieeeeee! Spiders are one of the things that our human is petrified of. How could anyone open the jar??? Ugh, ugh, ugh. Our human might even have vacated the house until the thing was caught. LOL.
ReplyDeleteP.S. "Moan"day is a good way to put it, at least for the bipeds!
laughing out loud. :)
ReplyDeleteWe think you look very LADY LIKE in your furs do and new bandana...

We love our tarantulas here. They're really big but we're not scared at all.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same issue here from time to time!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love catching spiders! I wish I could come over and help you with that. In the meantime, catch them by putting a clear glass or jar over them and then sliding a piece of heavy paper underneath. Transport them to the door and let them go outside! This works well with bees and wasps too.
ReplyDeleteFIRST OF ALL MOLLY THAT IS ONE ADORABLE PICTURE OF YOU WITH YOUR HEAD COCKED!
ReplyDeleteMY CRAZY MOM SAYS SHE HAD RATER BE CHASED BY A WILD CAT THAN A SPIDER? CRAZY RIGHT? SHE SAYS AT LEAST SHE COULD SEE THE WILD CAT BUT THE SPIDER WOULD BE LURKING IN THE CORNER WAITING TO JUMP
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
And they say curiosity is bad for kitties! It can take a wonder boy and turn it into a syupid idiot in the turn of a jar lid! BOL
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

hehehehe my mummy is on the floor laughing,xx Speedy
ReplyDeleteWe hate to laugh, but can imagine how funny the scene was! I laughed through the whole story! ☺
ReplyDeleteAmbercat laughed- she eats spiders - you just show her and she pounces - do you think you might do that for your peeps Mollie? failing that we had 'the funnel web spider' in our garage for about 10 years, she got bigger and bigger and was quite aggressive, rushing out of her long tube web when I cam in the garage, I had a few attempts over the years at flattening her but she always got back down the crack in the floor under her funnel before I got there - but guess what Mollie - WD40 did it for me!!! I sprayed her and her web and the crack in the floor and never saw her again! Hope your peeps don't mind spraying the walls with WD40 - if not - problem solved!
ReplyDeleteHehe that was quite funny to read. You should see all the spiders hiding out around here!
ReplyDeleteBwahaahaa! We like spiders in this house. Anything that eats flies and mosquitoes is our friend. We just have to watch out for the poison ones and at least they're not aggressive. Wish you had a video. Maybe you should invest in a Nanny cam and just keep it turned on at your house, so we can all enjoy the fun!
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha! Your lady and wb need to be brave!
ReplyDeleteHey Molly!
ReplyDeleteWow, you look gorgeous in your new dana! OMD my peeps would probably both faint if a large spider was loose in my house. BOL Even my brave Dad is scared of them. I just watch them crawl by and wonder what the excitement is all about. BTW I totally agree with Bella that a video of that would be fabulous entertainment. BOL
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Police Commissioner
BOL my village is full you can keep yours. I just wanted to tell you look so pretty and soft in your photo.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
Our Mom would have been freaking out! She hates spiders, except for that cute pug spider that was running around on Halloween
ReplyDeletehugs
Mr Bailey & Hazel
yep we've been invaded by spiders too!
ReplyDeletemy Mom runs even if it was one of those plastic ones for halloween.
ReplyDeleteSo we know why your mom was using HBO words.
We are not laughing we are not laughing nope we are not.
xo Cinnamon
Mean ole cat dietzy eats all the creepers that try to come into ur house, that is just how mean he can be.
ReplyDeletestella rose
You are just so funny!
ReplyDeleteOh Yes!! They are huge this year!! The stupid idiot in this house is apparently me who when told to "kill, kill" went and "tap tap" so that the spider ran into the corner and hid. apparently I was supposed to kill it!!!! I wanted to play with it!!
ReplyDeleteLove the head tilt picture. Looking pawsome in the bandana. As fur the spider, we hope to never see one that big ever. Mommy has two bug nets on a long stick. Those two bug nets have helped our Mommy get rid of stink bugs, wasps, flies. She traps it in one net, slides the other net to capture it between the nets. Then she throws both nets out the front door. She checks in a few hours to make sure the bug left the nets before she brings the nets back in. However we like your method better and it sounds more entertaining to watch. Hope spider man wove his own web and caught the jumping spider.
ReplyDeleteMolly, too bad the Momster wasn't there because she would just take her big foot and stamp that spider out cold!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Humans are so funny to watch and you have very entertaining ones
ReplyDeleteWe would eat the spider for you...nom nom
ReplyDeleteWyatt and Stanzie
hahaha. Sounds a lot like our house. It must be Big Spider Season! And I swear we had a big black moth in here the size of a bat the other day. I about died!!
ReplyDeleteOMC, if this funny! I don’t supposed Stupid Idiot would sit still if he was being held captive and the jail dor swung open.
ReplyDeleteshe catches it and then LETS IT GO??? Is she NUTS?????!!
ReplyDeleteSpiders make me skeered.
ReplyDeleteOMD!!!! It jumped out??? That is SO horrible! I have such a huge phobia of spiders!!!!
ReplyDeleteღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!

tweedles
BOL, we just squish em round here.
ReplyDeleteBBBBOL!!! OMD! We thought we were the only one's with a spider problem. We had TWO rain spiders and one wolf spider in the house all in one week. Mom was freaking out, dad is looking at getting his modified margarine tub / spider catcher patented and I (Sammy) was really, really annoyed that they kept insisting on catching and removing my new friends.
ReplyDeleteWally & Sammy
LOL I can only imagine. We have a lot of spiders this year too!
ReplyDeleteHAAAAA, we know an undercover COP who would take her GUN out and shoot ALL spiders, if she ould get away with it. Big tough chick, big gun, teeeeensy spider. MOL!!!
ReplyDeleteBOL! I hate when I have to get rid of bugs... if my boyfriend isn't around, then I have to... we usually have the giant spiders more in the summer. I like summer, but there are way too many bugs here during that season.
ReplyDeleteLOL. I've read two posts now, and still I can't help but laugh because the stealers don't like to share their candy.
