Dog House Blog, In The Doghouse!

Molly The Wally A Lark In The Park!

If you are ever in Idahos' Camas Prairie you might just think you have gone barking mad. For at the Dog Bark Park Inn, a bed & breakfast guesthouse you can stay inside the worlds' biggest beagles. This is the pet project of married chainsaw artists Dennis Sullivan and Frances Conklin. The pair built the 30 foot high Sweet Willy in 1997, funded through sales of miniature dog carvings. Needless to say the Trojan horse style abode is very dog friendly. They then decided to build the 12 foot high Toby, to add to the dog themed park. The dog lovers have said they chose the beagle for their architectural feat because it was a safe bet. Sweet Willy sleeps four, with a queen bed in the main section and two twin futons in the head. The interior is all decked out with canine-inspired furnishings. Guests enter the beagles' body from a private second story deck, and are treated to dog shaped biscuits left on their pillows. So next time you are in Idaho go and stay in the dog house.

  13. Miz Molly! You came to say hello to the horses....they wish you a wonderful day OUTSIDE of the dog house and out where you can chase all the squirrels you want. We had two of them in the tree yesterday; it was clear that one was a male and the other a female, and then SHE was not complying with his advances, he hung by his toes on the tree, let go of the tree with his front paws and wiggle them in front of her as to say, "Look, no hands! Are ya impressed?" She just turned around and ran....LUNATIC! teheeee

Come and take 'em away Miz Molly!
