Flog It Blog It, Olympic Sized Art Attack!

Molly The Wally & The ArcelorMittal Orbit

the ArcelorMittal Orbit, an Olympic sized art attack.

Breaking News, my sources at Molly Media have informed me that a roller coaster ride had escaped from Alton Towers and is holding a stand-in demonstration just outside the Olympic Park. The ride known as ‘Eye-Sore 1’ is protesting at the meagre remuneration it receives for allowing visitors on to its’ premises At a £15 charge for adults and £7 for kids, it feels undervalued. The structure created by Dr Krapoorstein is in fact an amalgam of scaffolding, track and concrete, creating a monstrous edifice, writhing in anguish over London. With the current value of scrap metal so high it won’t be long before someone pilfers it, or even better maybe some enterprising Londoner will dismantle it and chuck it in that ‘Skip’ In Brighton. Oh no I feel a ‘Carbuncle Speech’ coming on, it less ‘Eiffe’ tower more ‘Awful’ tower! Fished out my old ‘Meccano’ set and ‘Hornby’ rail track and have created my own structure called ‘Orbit Space Junk’ which is on its way to the Olympic Committee as we speak with a very reasonable price tag of £15 million.
