Soggy Bottom Blog From The Park!

Yet more rain! Where is Summer?

Yet more rain! Where is Summer?

Here we are getting ready for 10 more days of rain at least. Forecasters blame a shift in the jet stream for the terrible weather that has written off summer. It has been the wettest spring and early summer period since records began. Conspiracies theorists believe that is due to weather modification by the High Frequency Active Research Program (HAARP). They have began utilizing what are now popularly known as 'chemtrail' aerosol 'corridors' sprayed into the global atmosphere. Maybe the technology came from those little green men?  Must be some stonkingly big aerosol can to spray stuff into the ‘Lonosphere’ or should we say ‘Loonysphere’?  The ‘Jet Stream’ has not jetted off North yet. Is it being held hostage by the mad boffins at HAARP? Well thank God for HAARP, I thought it was global warming. Soon I will have trench paw, soggy bottom and mildew mane! Or maybe I’ll grow webbed feet and fins! Personally I blame the Hanks Bottom and the X-Points! Or could it be due to all that training for Declan’s ‘Tuneful Farting’ event in The Blogville Olympics blowing the ‘Jet Stream’ off course? We also have Franks' Extreme Weather Sports Event. Barking mad huh!

For those you suffering the heat and drought , we are willing you cooler weather and much needed rain , preferably ours!

  1. Yikes! Ten more days of rain! We could use some here. Maybe Blogville will have to tune down the "Tuneful Farting" to a squeak! LOL!

  2. teeeeheeee... I think I agree with you Miz Molly that all of this weather shifting is due to the methane gas produced by the tuneful farting event! GOTTA BLAME SOMETHING, RIGHT??????

    CARRY ON! Anita

All to no avail. The rain keeps falling, every single day!

But, the trees re happy as Larry, lovely and green and happy, so it's not all gloom.

  10. We've heard things are VERY wet across the pond. Here in southeastern Ontario, Canada, and in many places across the country and in the US, we're in drought conditions. If only Mother Nature could find a balance for us all!

We hope the latter part of July brings you dry, sunny days!

  26. Howdy Molly, you can keep your rain thanks. We've had enough over here ourselves although I suppose it is winter. Does the wet weather cause havoc with your hair too? Mine just goes crazy! See ya sweetie. No worries, and love, Stella (and Rory)

  27. My poor Molly, I can feel with you! Althought we in Germany have a very shifting weather, I know from my human mom, who is at the moment in one of the hottest city of Italy (but not for holyday), that she is roasting alive and she cannot even open the windows at her home, for the air outside is so hot that you don't want it to come inside. Every room is darkend, for light means at the same time heat. But she does not complain, she loves it. At the same time she is happy to be alone (althought she is missing me like crazy), because she thinks I would suffer a lot if I were here. I think that I would stand everything to be with her, but it is not possible at the moment!
Try to resist, Molly (your name in Italian means "wet" in Plural form, I don't know if it could be a sign of Destiny...;) )
    Best regards
    Arno
