Oh deer me! I'd better buck up and get on with it. You’d
better rein in Aunty and her knitting needles or you’ll be locking horns over
this creation. If a reindeer lost its tail, where could he get a new one? At a re-tail store.
This one is just taking
the piste, if you get my drift. All white then it is s-now joke. What do you call people who are afraid of Santa Claus? Claustrophobia!
Earlier we took a tad poll and we think
it’s a frog. A hideous jumping jumper, I toad you so. What is
green, covered with tinsel and says, “Rabbit, rabbit?” A mistle-toad.
No-bama! Nothing more to say but Oh-bummer! Who makes
toy guitars and sings, “Blue Christmas?” Elfis.
With this one less
Santa-clause more Santa far! What would you get if you ate the Christmas
decorations? Tinselitis.
You can spruce yourself up with this delight. What do
Christmas trees and bad knitters have in common? They both drop their needles.
Less ho ho ho more ha ha ha! What do
you call a reindeer who wears ear muffs? Anything you want. He can’t hear you,
anyway.
And who says the French have good taste? Not Noel
but more no-hell! What name does Santa Claus use when he takes a rest from
delivering presents? Santa Pause!
Get a ribbing with this ribbon creation. What does
a reindeer say before telling a joke? This one will sleigh you!
Less flamingo more flaming-go and hide with this
one. Where does Santa hide the presents he’s giving to Mrs. Claus? In the
clauset. Do you have any ghastly jumpers in your clauset?
Those sweaters are not thaaaaaat bad... I guess it'd be okay for a 5-year-old :)

Singing "Magic Moments" definitely helped get through those sweaters. My favorite is the pink flamingos, I think because it reminds me of the pink floozy that Freddie has and holds so dear to his heart! LOL!

ReplyDeleteHi Molly, Knit one pearl one, I've seen some ugly sweaters but that takes the yarn....thank god there are no doggie christmas patterns out there...just think of all those horrible creations our humans could come up with! I'm off to the gardens to bury the knitting needles.

your jokes are funnier than anything I ever got out of a Christmas cracker! you cracked me up! What a great post - very funny. No sweaters but I do have a purple and lime green spotted rain coat which makes me look like a clown.

Oooooh...we are doing an ugly Christmas sweater theme this year at our family Christmas. I would be honored to wear any of those human sweaters at our party but especially like the peeking snowman and the Obama one. Wait...where did you get those pictures? Are those in your closet?? Ha, ha.
