Orange sheep in Mull in Scotland.

Sheep Dyed Orange In Mull In Scotland?

Something is not right on the tiny island of Mull in Scotland my sauces at Molly Media inform me. One farmer has resorted to a makeover with a difference in a bid to stop sheep rustling. He thought up this eye catching solution after thieves pinched as many as 200 of his sheep and gives us some ‘sheep thrill’s at the same time. The ‘shear’ bare faced cheek of the thieves fleecing the neighbourhood. Using a vivid imagination and some dye, the sheep have been given a colourful orange rinse. Is that where all the surplus fake tan has been going? The non-toxic dye does the sheep no harm and eventually wears off with no side effects for the animals. Maybe baarrmy but the future is sure bright for these sheep and those are some coats to dye for! Being easy to distinguish the farmer felt it was easier for him and his neighbours to keep a beady eye out for thieves. They sure are ewe-nique and talk about pulling the wool over the criminals eyes or is it bleating the competition? Ewe've got to be joking we hear you say but this is apparently an old farmers trick used in winter so the sheep can be seen in the snow! Perfect I’ve been trying to buy an orange dog coat for years. What a yarn, but It's all wool round the needle to me. What colour would you dye the sheep?

If you missed it yesterday was Dogton Abbey episode 2.

  1. Orange sheep? Hmmm... Would've been nice for Halloween. They may be easier to distinguish but I think it's kinda weird...

  5. Well as long as it doesnt hurt the sheep, Ive seen people dye their dogs pink for breast cancer awareness and Im not really a fan but if it doesnt hurt the dog.

As for your question about shops here because of the storm, they are open all though some are closed. Now about 80%of our community has power. Thankfully we have bikes and live in an urban area becaue there is a HUGE gas shortage problem and massive lines at the tanks. Another storm is coming wednesday so that has people scared. I dont think it will be nearly as bad but it will hinder recovery efforts
