Flog It Blog It, The Buck Stops Here, Not!

Molly The Wally The Sage In Pink!

Gun toting action figures mean four year old children can now act out a bank robbery?

Now just when you thought you’d seen it all we were astounded to ferret out this. We even had to check out our calendar to make sure April had not snuck up on us early. Wearing dark glasses the blonde dolly points her pistol at the smiley bank manager as he hands over the gold. A line from some Po Po show……hmm think not.  It is just one of the fun games you can buy your four year olds to act out in Playmobils’ Bank and Safe set. Other scenarios include a a cash machine heist and a good old fashioned money robbery.  Steady on Sarge and Sidebite we are not wanting these in Blogville as it will give Puddles more ideas on how to get free Cheetos and beer.  The Early Learning Centre website sells the toy for £34.99, and state ‘the bank robber is after the money and is demanding the key to the safe. What will the bank manager do? Opps and it gets worse as there is no justice in Playmobils’ world as you would have to fork out £24.99 for the police car with flashing light from the City Action range to get to the bank and save the manager and the money. This is not the first time the German company has landed itself in hot water.  It also raised more than a few eyebrows with a construction worker themed toy which included shovels, handsaws, a broom and three crates of beer. What next we shudder to think!

Don’t forget your fortunes if you missed them during the circus. You can find them at the links below and the Chip In is available for your donation on the right hand side.

If you did not realise the deadline for your very own Mystic Molly Fortune was the 1st of Feb and you'd still like one done, panic not. For the good causes the charity is for, I will cast my eye over your fortunes once again. Just promise to give extra to the Chip In and email me at MollyDOTthewallyATbitinternetDOTcom and I will send you one. The cost is 1$ but if you feel it is worth more every little extra helps. You can then read it in private or post it on your blog. No worries as long as you give me a few days I am happy to work to add extra into the fund.
Best wishes Molly

  1. Well, at least the construction worker were using a handsaw and not power tools while they were drinking their beer!

  2. Have a lovely week, sweet Molly. By the way, you look like my grandmother with that outfit.

Oh, and I have a new blog. Come and have a look:

  3. Hmmm...not exactly the kind of "toys" for a 4 year old...
On another note, just think of all the fun stuff they can do if the theme was politics.

  4. Mom wants to know what happened to making a fort out of blankets thrown over chairs and a flashlight as your fire?
FYI Molly you look lovely in pink!
    Hugs Madi your BFFF

  5. OH DEAR! I say, MIZ MOLLY FOR MAYOR! Girl, you bring justice to the table. You ferret out the good, the bad AND the ugly! No wonder some kids these days start so early to think of such nonsense! MOLLY FOR MAYOR!

  6. My mom sure does wonder what happened to good 'ol fashioned toys. That is just a little to much for my mom to handle!

  7. Woof! Woof! Ancient toys. Lovely pink glasses. Mmmmmm what's that on your head, flowers with ??? Golden Thanks again for writing my fortune, so appreciate it for accommodating us for the last minute. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  8. oh my god - that is the best picture ever!

  9. What a great toy! Lee and Phod

  10. Is it any wonder the world is in the shape it's in?

  11. I think the playmobil designers saw our street workers and created the construction worker close to reality ;o) Have a fabulous Monday and if you plan a bank robbery and you need a driver for the getaway car - don't ask my mom ;o)

  12. Hi Molly,

I think the playmobil designers need to go one step further, how about courts with lawyers and wardens ready to look you up......crime does'nt pay!

  13. Is that considered an educational toy???? And there are people who will pay for their kids to play with trash.
    Thanks for being a friend
    Sweet William The Scot

  14. Happy Monday... it's a long weekend here in the states, so we're enjoying a day off!

  15. I feel so very sorry for the little two leggers in this day and age. What was that company THINKING? OH yes we know they were thinking $$$$ fur themselves.
Your Fortunes were ASTOUNDING Mystic Molly.

  16. Toys are too close to society! We were all thinking of you last night cuz mom recorded Downton Abbey to watch and it only recorded 1 hour instead of two. Here's the shocker . . . it was her first time to see it! So now she will have to just see your episodes!

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley
    Online Doods

  17. No No NO! This is just crazy. No way would I get this for any little peep. I want to pee on the box.

  18. Molly DEAR.... We just saw your Comment... That is sooooooo sweet of you to do that fur the Woos.... YOU are the BEST!!!

  19. No wonder the mini-humans are so confused.

  20. Pink is most definitely YOUR color, Molly!

As fur da bank robber....ha, uhg, oh,.....sorry...think I've turned suddenly barkless!

  21. Molly, I just read your comment over on Rubie's blog - "art and a fart" and just about fell off my chair laughing! And now this picture of you - gave me such a smile and chuckle! Thanks!

Your readings were ALL amazing and I really believe one of the highlights of the circus. Thanks for all your hard work, humor, creativity and fun!

    Your pal, Pip

  22. Molly, we wanted to thank you for our wonderful fortune readings. You really did a great job. The circus was great fun and we loved being able to help out some friends at the same time!
    Bailey, Hazel & Greta

  23. We agree with worked your furs off Molly, we have enjoyed it so much :) Have a wonderful Monday xx00xx

    Mollie and Alfie

  24. You did a fabulous job with our fortunes! WHN was amazed at how spot on you were about us!

  25. Molly I can't wait to see your hairdo after the curlers come out! BOL! I don't know how you find this crazy stuff, but thanks for sharing and giving me a laugh.

  26. And they wonder why the world is in such sad shape? I don't even want to ask what will they think of next!

  27. Well I would likes da construction playset. Howevers I would never allow My Girl to plays withs da bank one. Her is already livin' in a crappy world...don't want her play life to effed up too.

  28. You have got to be kidding! What kind of people would actually even comtemplate buying that for a child.
The world has gone mad Molly, it really and truly has.
    Dip Bridge and Elliot x

  29. Molly, we agree, no need to encourage Puddles with the Cheetos fix, nope. *shakes head*

Oh and did you hear? ChipIn is going away soon. They got purchased by another company and they will stop their services sometime in March we thoguht we heard somewheres....

  30. Crazy....can't believe that game is for real. Just what the world needs now.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella &Roxy

  31. we would love to give but we have given so much lately that we have nothing ourselves!! I give every chance I get :(

  32. That's just wrong...
Thanks so much for my fortune. I still need to 'chip-in' but will borrow mummy's credit card and pay up soon:-)

  33. Looks like the NRA reached your shores! Here, we have a video game where 4 year olds can take target practice and hit targets shaped like coffins. I can't make this stuff up!

  34. Hmmm... I'm not too sure about that toy! Lol... I did buy a cool baby toy today though. It's a baby DJ turntable hehe. I am sad that I missed out on the fortunes (I didn't realize the deadline til it was too late!) but it is ok, I read some of the other fortunes and they were great! I did donate just a little to the circus though.

  35. Those two are lucky they are not locked up for good
    Benny & Lily

  36. I bet you could learn a lot about a kid just watching them play with this toy...

  37. WOW just look at all those fortunes Molly! You are certainly a Jil of all trades, those glasses are just the tip of the iceberg!

  38. Oh wow Molly, when your page came up we thought we were watching an episode of Deserate Housewives of the Blogosphere. That is one very strange toy. Should we worry more about the children who play with it or the parents who would buy such a thing for their four year old.

Thanks again for taking the time to read the crystal ball for our Mama, she is still contemplating your words. We enjoyed reading everyone's fortunes.

  39. Oops! That should have read Desperate Housewives. Typing with paws doesn't always work out.

Cindi Lou & The Kitty Krew

  40. Yes, wonderful, let's teach the children as early as possible how to go about a successful bank robbery! What will they think of next.

  41. Sometimes I find humans and their ideas quite confusing! :) What's wrong with a ball to play with?

    Wags to all

    Your pal Snoopy :)

  42. Great article! We will be linking to this particularly
great content on our website. Keep up the great
