Dog House Blog, Toothsome Thursday.

Molly The Wally In The Dog House!

As you well know I have just the teeniest obsession with squirrels. It is only a small one, so it does leave me some time to indulge in my other passion which is getting to the post before my lazy servant assistant. This requires a quick response to the sound of the letter box opening. A lightning sprint followed by a nimble leap in the air with mouth open usually results in a deading of all paper communications that arrive at our house. Well yesterday after returning from a hard days hunting the pesky tree rats I leapt into action when I heard the post man. The result was a spell under the dining table for I was well and truly in the dog house.

Molly The Wally In The Dog House!

Dear Parsley over here sent us a little treat (we love tea) and a lovely card and message. Peeps was less than thrilled with my DIY job on said goodies. Sorry Parsley I can honestly say I did not know it was from you and I thought it was a bill that needed shredding. Peeps says I need to beg your forgiveness.

Which reminds me Christmas will be here soon and you know what that means? Yes perforated Xmas cards, customised by my own pawsome toothies. Fangtastic I say.

Parsley we say a big thank you for your kind words and thoughtfulness. If you are of the crafty persuasion or just an animal lover pop over and say hello and make a new friend.

  1. OH! OH! THAT FRENCH VANILLA TEA IS MY FAVORITE Miz Molly! Don't worry, love...you won't stay in the dog house forever. Your peep is generous and kind...(hint hint!) and will let you out. You just have a natural instinct to go for the tree rats!

    Enjoy your tea dear friends!

  4. Nice job Molly. So how did the tea taste? hehhehhe. As for the squirrels I have recently learned how to tackle that problem thanks to my gal pal Belle. You two should get together for ridding them from our trees.

  10. Jimmy used to be our junk mail shredder as a pup. He seems to have lost interest however, so it now just goes straight to the recycle bin.

  15. Oh, Molly! You are such a GOOD puppy! What if there had been something in there that could have hurt your peeps? Like ... like a ticking time bomb or something?!!? You were so FEARLESS and BRAVE to open it and make sure it wasn't something that could harm them!!! I hope you got a reward. A nice salmon steak would be appropriate, I think.

  23. Tea for two - how perfect.
There is NO way I can work similar magic on our mail. It goes into a box set up high on a post outside the front door. So YANK, I tell ya. From there the humans throw it on the kitchen table. Since I cannot reach the table or jump on the chairs to reach the table. . . well you get the pix, I am sure.
Good job on the teeth marks, Molly.

  29. Bwahaahaa! Our letter box is outside, so we don't get the post unless it falls on the floor later....but then it's ours. We have lots of tooth monogrammed stuff in our house......more multigrammed in our case.

  34. Wow, you are lucky you can get to the mail so quickly. We guess your mail slot opens into the house? Our mail is put in a LOCKED box across the street - well beyond our access. We can't even get to the street without Mom attached to our leashes.

Oh yes, very nice of Parsley:)
