It won't be long before 2013 leaves us and we head into 2014. So thinking about next years' calendar? Will it be Lady Ga-Ga, a 101 things to do with bacon or maybe Downton Abbey? We found some really bad ones last year which you can view here. However this time we bring you one we know you can't wait to buy. The 'Fast Disappearing Red Telephone Boxes of Wales 2014' has been branded naff, nerdy and boring by its' own publisher Kevin Beresford. Mr.Beresford, who was responsible for unlikely seasonal hit Roundabouts of Great Britain 2012 and was hoping to repeat his success but has failed to attract any buyers since it went on sale in September. Mr.Beresford, of Redditch near Birmingham, said, 'we now feel the need to confess and state, we may have crossed a boring bridge too far. We have created a calendar that is considered to be so hum-drum, so naff, so nerdy, so dull, so parochial that not even the most patriotic Welsh person wants to buy a copy. In short we have not sold one calendar and we are past mid-November in the shopping run up to Christmas.' We suggest 'Road Kill of Great Britain' for next year Mr.Beresford and we know it will be a massive hit. What kind of calendar would you like to see?

    People might not want that calendar but they pay big money to own one of those old red boxes. They are a collector's item for sure, esp. here in the states!

    2013 went by in record time. I can't thiink of a year that went by faster.
    Once my Wife and I made our own calendar, with our underwater pictures, and pictures of our dogs and cats. We gave them away to all our relatives, (and we put all their birthdays on the calendar.) It was a big hit.

    How many uses are there for an old phone box? (personally I have no idea but I have seen them as Showers, Book shop/Libraries, Greenhouses...oh the list goes on - it is SUCCHHHH FUNNNN).

    We cannot believe how fast this year has went by and the changes in our home it has brought. mainly baby gussie!!! We saw a show where those red boxes are big collectors items here in the states!

    Every December I want to buy a wall calendar, but I never use it with the calendar on my phone these days. I do miss looking at the beautiful pictures each month! I agree with Reilly-Denny Cowspotdogs that they're probably on their way out!

    Ok, next week we will have december, but there is hope for Mr.Beresford till 12/31/14, more than a whole year, LOL. I ate our firefighter-calendar for 2014 (it was anyway one without naked firefighter-guys).

    Mom always gets a pug calendar and Dad always has a calendar with Deer or Moose or Elk.
    Mom also used to make family calendars but there just seems to be no time for that anymore

    This year has gone so quick!!! Mums already got a 2014 calender, it's full of doggies!!
    Maybe the telephone box guy should add some blue to the box and have Matt Smith stand outside it, I guarantee he'll have more sales!!!

    We only ever buy scottie calendars. That one looks like a calendar you'd buy a work colleague that you don't like much. There could be a market there.

    Our mama thinks those red boxes are so cool, the calendar not so much. She would like the blue boxes even better especially with the last three doctors peeking out the door.

    Our mama has a wall calendar hanging on her bulletin board and we keep taking bits of it. We think a calendar that smells like catnip would be a hit.

    They' re great Molly..i would love one..the old metal ones always stunk of pee....human pee...ewwwww..but as a calendar...hmmmmmm calendars do sadly lack in sales now...somewhere a calendar salesman weeps into his soggy brekkie cereal hahahhahahaah :) hugs Fozziemum xx
