Dog House Blog, A Tree for PIP, RIP my darling!

Molly The Wally & Pippin!

Everyone knows how much I love my Ancient Pip. So I share my treats and chews with her, She has had the ickies again and so we had some more anti bi yacht ticks  thingies to try and shove down her throat. So it is a bit of put the right pill in, spit the right pill out, in, out, in, out, spit it all about.

Pippin!

But I decided I needed to do something special for my little bag of bones. I spent a considerable amount of time contemplating what would make her happy. Now her legs are not too good so her park days are over. We know she misses the park. Then it hit me why not bring the park to Pippin? So after much doings I finally give you my attempt at Christmas Cheer to the old gal complete with bones.

Pippins' Christmas tree.

Pippins' Christmas tree.

Sadly since we wrote this things took a turn for the worse and Ancient Pip went down hill very quickly.

To Pippin much love Molly. So sad my sweet one you could not share it with me on the big day. All our hearts are broken. RIP my darling.

The peeps.

Pip was put to sleep yesterday as she started to show signs she was in pain and she lost half a kilo in two days.

We wish to celebrate her life not mourn it, so tomorrow we will be back to normal. She is always in our thoughts and prayers.  Sweet heart you may be gone but never forgotten. A big part of our life has gone but we are forever grateful you were part of it for a time my love.

Signing off as our dear mother always did....

Pippin my shadow

Countless kisses.

  98. If Pip could talk I believe this might be what you would hear ~~~~~
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
    I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
I think Pip accomplished those things, now you have to accomplish drying the tears and have only happy memories.
