Move Over Or Move Out, On Moanday Monday!

My most desired location apart from my sleeping quarters are the oven, fridge, ping-ping microwave, dog bowl and lastly dustbin but not in any particular order. However best of all of those is the big bed. Sleeping arrangements however are fruaght with difficulties. When my basket is full of cartons, wrappers, chewed up slippers and post, the big bed will do but space management is an issue as I need to stretch out. So the other morning after giving she who must be obeyed ignored a good kick when doing a bit of DOGA she retaliated. Yes without a word of apology she pushed me right off the bed. I landed in an ungainly heap on the floor and she just turned over and attempted to go back to sleep. Well that defintely could not go unchallenged so I leapt back on to the bed and sat on her pillow above her head and made a stinky smell. LOL she was furious and needless to say that got her up and dressed in record time. The trails and tribulations of human ownership. Would your peeps kick you out of bed for doing a bit of DOGA? Now let us hope she has learnt he lesson.

Have a marvellous Monday all.

  8. I must say you have a lot of good selling points.. hope this sign doesn't mean mom is putting you on ebay after the doga you did to her.. BOL.... Jake loves the PING of the microwave and stands waiting for it to open, baby takes the cardboard out of the recycle and chews it up, both of them have similar traits to yours, so depending on how much you sell for i am getting prepared with a sign of my own.

  24. Ambercat smirked at this post, she comes up on the bed every morning and wafts her botty around, there is often a little windy puff to help us wake up. She has an igloo bed and when that gets too hot she sprawls out on teenage boys bed, her smelly whiffs are not noticed in there as it's a typical teen bedroom with cheesy socks. If she lands on our bed she gets squished so steers clear.

  25. LOL. Momma def'ly kicks Rita out of bed for DOGA and for stink bombs (which are luckily few and far between with her!) but Daddy will put up with anything! Hence, she sleeps on Daddy's side of the bed now.

  26. She pushed you off of the bed?????????!!! Is she completely DAFT!! Oh my! Revenge is in order!

  27. Well, Molly, we are very jealous because we never get a chance to practice doga in the human's bed - the upstairs chambers are off limits to us poor pups:(

  28. LOL! Bailie sleeps in a huge bed with Mom at night and almost every night at some point she kicks Mom in the face with one of her back paws, but Mom doesn't toss her out of bed.

  29. Oh this is just perfect! I must remember this trick!

  30. Oh Molly I am just as bad as you! I spread out right in between mom and dad pulling off their covers. If I get crowded I start kicking anything I can hit (Dad's man spot). Mom has taken to pulling the covers back so hard that she flips me. I'm not going anywhere soon, hehehe. Love Dolly. Pees: Rhette sleeps on her head.

  31. I never got to sleep in the big bed till Lee came home from the hospital/rehab. Now we snuggle all the time in the big bed. But I think my place is in the center and Lee thinks it is at the foot. If I try to take that spot to hard Lee puts me on my bed. I have learned to compromise. Maybe you need some arbitration.
    Thanks for being a friend

  38. My peep says I am a "discrete" bed sharer. I like the foot of the bed where I can see the door, and I don't take up a lot of space. Floyd, on the other paw, she complains about every time we're allowed to share the Big Bed. She says he could make sleeping a "contact sport".

  39. Oh the classic battle of the bed. :)

  40. What a story! I do hope all involved come to some 'settlement' in the bed issue. Good luck and have a great day ... Katie

  41. We have them outnumbered, and they find it impossible to keep us out of bed no matter how much kicking (gently placing us on the floor) they do. We just keep coming back again and again and again and again....well you get the picture. We think your retaliation was well justified.
