OMD I Hate Lycra On Moanday Monday!

We thought we could do with this sign on our park after nearly getting run down this week by one of those Lycra Louts.

Said idiot nearly went......

and nearly ended up like this.....

So we say....

We should put up a sign saying beware....

Or you might end up.....

Grrrrr we hate Lycra Louts do you? Have a mravellous Monday all.

  2. Totally agree!! We do NOT like Lycra Louts!

  3. Oh does my mom agree. Lots of times when the peeps are walking on a park trail...those dudes come zooming by so close they can feel the breeze. Then there are the ones who try to give you some warning they are coming by screaming, "on your left"! And that scares the pee mail out of the peeps.
For the first few times this was screamed at the peeps they weren't even sure what it meant. MOL It was short speak for 'hey you humans I'm on a bike and I'm flying and I'm about to pass, on your lef, so don't move'!!

  4. I was riding my bike one day (sans lycra) and one of these LYCRA LOUTS almost knocked me off my bike, as he was angry that I wasn't going fast enough! He had plenty of space to pass me, but he wanted to demonstrate his power and just about insulted me to no end! Go get 'em, MIZ MOLLY!

  5. Yep, I agree, I finks there's more chance of getting run over by a bike than a car in London!

  11. BOL! I can't say I hate lycra louts because my daddy-dog is one of them...though he is a respectful rider and doesn't run people over! Those signs are hilarious though. I would definitely put some of them up around here! Happy Moanday, Molly

  23. Funny signs! My backyard backs up to a very busy regional bike path. Those louts can be quite a pain in the arse! They travel in huge packs sometimes and that can be scary!

  24. LOL. We hate those lycra louts too, but in our wood there is none, thank God :)

  25. Snorts. We don't have any of those lycra louts here. If we did, I would run up to them and snort. They probably would fall down then in fear. Right? XOXO - Bacon

  32. Dear Molly,

I do not know what lyra is, but sometimes people on bikes make me scared or startled. You do, however, look smashing in red!

  34. Yep! They are a pain in the proverbial!! I think it's the Lycra! It's too tight and cuts off their circulation!! MOL

  35. We haven't had too make bikers out yet because of the snow but when they do get spring fever, they're pretty respectful in our neck of the woods.

    Love ya lots♥

  36. You hit a nerve here, Molly. Mom gets so upset with those silly bike riders (usually men more than women) who never give the alert they are coming up behind you and then get mad when she yells at them for being so rude. What are they doing on our sidewalks anyway???

  42. Hey Dads a Lycra Guy.....and we loves him...problem here is the DOT says they are vehicles, so they are entitled to the road....but the red necks here yell at him.....they say he don't pay road tax...well that bike don't tear up the road...beside he like it he just flags back at em.

  44. Hey Molly!
Wow, that first pix of you is gorgeous! You got to go for a ride?!? OMD we too hate the Lycra Louts and ours usually are twice as fat as any on your signs. BOL The fatter, the more likely to wear it for some reason. Love your signs!

Here in Midway, wes none. We does have some geezy riders though (some old geezers who rides their bikes to the pub, very sedate and they wears jeans)

  55. Mommy and Daddy had lycra on yesterday for the first time since late December. They, however, are very courteous bikers. They hate the walkers and joggers who stop in the center of the bike/walk path in huge groups to chat. Then there are those with their earbuds in and music up so loud that they can't hear the humans' bike horn or Daddy yelling at the top of his lungs, "on your left." There are rude people in and out of lycra, and it is so super annoying. Stay safe out there, Molly! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  58. That last sign might be posted down in Boca Raton Florida, where our Jessy lives. Every once in a while, an alligator comes out of a canal to do things like block traffic or steal your parking space or harass the golfers. BOL!
