Flog It Blog It, It’s a retro Christmas!

Molly The Wally goes retro.

It is going to be a retro Christmas and yes the Cabbage Patch kids are back.

Breaking news, after the Cabbage Patch Kids have returned this Summer, Subbuteo (finger flick football), Star Wars and Barbie's renovated Dream House are the toys predicted to be huge this Christmas. The Barbie Dream House had been bought up to date with a glam pink chandelier and an outdoor sundeck with a telescope for whale watching. Barbie is now environmentally friendly being made from recycled plastic from unwanted Sindy dolls. She also has her own forest for a spot of tree hugging and the telescope has a secret harpoon for when ‘Action Man’ comes to stay. Lego is making a big come back with Lego Friends Riding Camp and Star Wars Death Star. Those little bricks don’t chew well and you wonder why Darth Vader talks the way he does? Cowabunga bring back the Mutant Ninja Turtles I say. Have we invented a time machine and traveled back to the 80's? All that's missing are Glow Worm and friends. Get up in that loft and fetch out those toys, remember it’s a credit crunch Christmas and recycling is good!

  3. MOLLY DARLIN'! Good morning.

    YOU dig up news ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, on ANY SUBJECT! Recycling IS good and relocating clutter is even better. We are in that process right now and it FEELS GOOOOOOOOOOOOD! Plastic is OUT and handmade with fabrics and papers is in. I hope you are having a wonderful day and keep hydrated my dear...it is a HOT ONE, at least out here across the pond. Anita

  5. Hey Molly. Sooooo... do you want a Barbie? I used to have six of them. They were all hand me downs.

    Recycling is definitely good! All hail, Barbie!

  7. Molly the Wally....
    Hey, I was born in the '80's. I had a Barbie Dream House. We loved "Star Wars" around here. I played with Cabbage Patch kid dolls. I still have one, actually!! I had a Glow Worm. And, I loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!! I refused to play with neighborhood kids once because their cartoon was on TV!! ;-}
    What an amusing Blog post this was!! ;op
    Love, Raelyn.... And Rose, my BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE "Mystery Dog"!!

  9. Mom is working away on her Christmas list for the grandbipeds - some great ideas here. She wishes they would bring back the Barbie pool from the late 70s and early 80s. Too bad she didn't keep the ones her girls had.

    Have a great weekend, Molly. Thanks for adding us to your friends' page.
